Chapter 27

Percy POV
I am glad we are home especially so annabeth can make blue cookies and tell me how to beat call of duty. "hey wise girl" I say as annabeth comes down the stairs I flip the pancake I made for her. I added some chocolate chips and served it to her. "here you go" I say. "thank you I had a rough night Luke's teething I hoped he would start at four months not three" annabeth says yawning. the triplets had pre school today and I didn't work today. "annabeth you go rest and I can watch Luke" I say when she finished. He nods and walks up stairs. I go into Luke's room which is grey and light blue striped. I take Luke out keeping him asleep. "Luke daddy loves you" I whisper to him. he looks like me with annabeths hair. he has my eyes with a hint of grey in them. I kiss his forehead as I sat on the couch with him in my arms. he started to fuss. I stood up and rocked him so he stopped crying. I walked to wake the triplets up and get them ready for play school. I make pancakes for them and get them in the van. after buckling Luke and the triplets up I drove them to play school where they ran to play with there friends. "annabeth not with you?" I here Jason ask. "no little Luke has started teething so annabeth has had some rough nights and she won't let me get up to help." I say. "yeah piper is the same with maddi" he says. we talk for a few more minutes before I leave to go home before Luke gets fussy. When I get home annabeth is still sleeping. I put Luke in his crib and lay in bed and cradle her in my arms. I tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. she looks so peaceful in her sleep. I kiss her forehead careful not to wake her. soon I fell asleep with we in my arms. I woke up around noon her still sleeping. I carefully laid her on the bed and went to check on Luke who was still sleeping. I had to pick up the triplets in about an hour so I made lunch. after about half an hour annabeth wakes up. "hey" I say kissing her forehead. I handed her some salad. I left after lunch and picked up the triplets.
