This is a REWRITTEN version of ETU (initially published a couple years ago). This book will contain a majority of the same plotline but with a couple new additions. It is a new and improved story that doesn't quite follow its original point for point! (:

This story is inspired by Greek mythology! For those of you who read the original: the names of the gods will differ in this story.

SYNOPSIS:

"To whom it may concern: you have been formally invited to partake in the upcoming Battle of the Gods..."

Every few years, the Battle of the Gods is hosted for all upcoming graduates to compete in. It is the final step in becoming a real God. Jeon Jungkook has been waiting for the day he'd be summoned to the capital, and after all these years, that day has finally come.

It's his last year to prove he has what it takes to rise to the top. All the odds are stacked against him, especially following his family's exile, but nothing is going to stop him from accomplishing his goal. Not the pressure; not the other graduates. Especially not Kim Taehyung, the only person Jungkook has ever considered an enemy.

It's the 87th Battle of the Gods, and Jungkook plans to win. No matter the costs.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

As mentioned above, this is a rewritten version of Expect the Unexpected. There will be new scenes that were not previously included in the original story. It will follow the same structural outline as the original, but with much more to it! If you have read the original version, I kindly ask that you do not spoil the MAJOR plot points of this story.

You may be surprised to find that quite a bit has changed anyway (:

This story is intended to be an enemies to lovers trope. Which means they will be ENEMIES for quite a bit of time (hence the slowburn). Please be patient<3
