Now it's The seocond time I've seen the rain welcoming the beginning of the spring season... I hate the rain.
I look down from window and watch the brouhaha among the people down the large compound... Of course it's my wedding day, there wouldn't be any less brouhaha, right?. The 'special' day that I never waited for...
How would the ceremony go well in this filthy rain, I thought.
The maids help me with my dress.
I look at myself in the mirror... The slik dress perfectly hugging my figure, but all I could see was a helpless girl standing infront of the mirror wearing the white dress she never thought she'll wear for a person she despise.Just then I heard the door open, there was My uncle looking at me with tears spouting out some sweet words... What was it that he was saying... My mind was still in the past... Thinking about the mistakes I made in the past.
"Oh how lovely you look, violet!"
"Violet?"
"Violet!? "My thoughts snaps, I look at my uncle with teary eyes.
"Please...uncle kooris, i dont want.. This.."
"Violet, there is no choice... You have to survive"
"But uncle..." I cries, the tears smudging the mascara. The maids quickly cleaning the mess on my face, and re doing the make up as it took another 30 minutes...
After a while the butler came in.
"The wedding is about to begin in just 9 minutes, get ready, My lady"
The words I didn't wanted to heard.. My heart felt like it was about to burst out, my mind filled with thoughts... Just as my uncle gave his arm, I slowly slide my hand around his arm and we walk down the stairs and to the compound.
I took a deep breath as I heard the music of piano and violin. I walk down the aisle with my uncle, the guest standing up from their seat, just as I remembered that it was raining and yet why isn't a single drop falling over me, I eye up and saw , the staff have build a glass roof.
This reminded me of the first meeting with 'him'... The first time I ever met his gaze... How ironic , it rained when we first met and it's raining even now at the day of our marriage...I look straight and saw Theodore standing on the altar made beautifully with violet colour flowers... Was it to mock me?..
I walk up the altar standing across him as the priest began the ceremony. I took a glance of him, as I saw his smug mocking face, I felt a urge of annoyance.
As the priest asks as he looks at him, "Do you take violet as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
Theodore says, "I, Theodore, take violet to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part."
The priest looks at me then aks, "Do you take Theodore as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
My voice trembling.
"yes, i do""You may kiss the bride", the priest says
Theodore close the distance between us and place and hand on my cheek as he crash his lips on mine ,kissing roughly making the guests shock, he only stopped and back off when only the guests interrupts with cheers.
After the ceremony the guests came and Congratulated me, I kept a fake natural smile as I takes in the wishes.
After that, Theodore was no where to be seen after that as he was busy with his guest because ...of course he had called his business partners at the wedding.
As I talk with the unknown guests....
I saw someone I truly despise the most ...
Jennie.Jennie stone...
She holds the dark past of me..i rather not say... She is the last person i wanted to see beside Theodore
