As the semester progressed, Hannah and Elisabeth continued to support each other through the various challenges and joys of college life. Their bond, forged during that transformative Passion Conference, had become a source of strength and encouragement.

The crisp fall air gave way to the chill of winter, and with it came the anticipation of change and new experiences.

One chilly November afternoon, Hannah sat in her dorm room, her thoughts drifting to the Bible verse she had been reflecting on lately: Ecclesiastes 3:1, "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." The verse seemed to echo in her mind, especially as she thought about the approaching winter break and her twin brother's return from college in Montana.

Elisabeth, sensing Hannah's preoccupation, knocked gently on the door and peeked in. "Hey, mind if I join you?"

Hannah looked up with a smile. "Of course, come in."

Elisabeth settled onto the bed, and Hannah handed her a cup of hot cocoa. "I've been thinking a lot about this verse," Hannah said, taking a sip from her own mug.

"It's so true that each season has its purpose. I guess I'm just reflecting on what this season of life means for us."

Elisabeth nodded, her dark eyes thoughtful. "It's a great verse. It reminds me that even though we might not always understand why things happen, there's a reason behind everything. And that each season prepares us for the next."

Hannah sighed, gazing out the window where the first snowflakes of the season were beginning to fall. "It's hard to believe how quickly time is passing. It feels like just yesterday we were meeting at that conference."

Elisabeth smiled warmly. "And now look at us—growing in our faith and preparing for what's next. I think this season is about learning to trust God's timing, even when it feels uncertain."As they continued their conversation, the discussion naturally turned to the upcoming winter break and Hannah's twin brother, Noah, who would be returning from college. Hannah was excited to introduce him to Elisabeth, knowing that their friendship would mean a lot to him as well.

"I can't wait for you to meet Noah," Hannah said, her excitement evident. "He's been away for so long, and I've missed him. I think you two will get along great."

Elisabeth's eyes sparkled with curiosity but also with a hint of nervousness. "I'm looking forward to it too. It'll be nice to get to know more of your family."

In the days leading up to winter break, Hannah and Elisabeth made the most of their time together. They studied for their finals, celebrated small victories, and made plans for the holidays. Their friendship was a steady presence amidst the flurry of end-of-semester activities.

On a particularly busy afternoon, Hannah was working in the campus library. She had spread her things across a table—a stack of books, her laptop, and her treasured journaling Bible. Lost in thought, she was jotting down notes when she felt a sudden jolt. A man had bumped into her table, sending her coffee cup precariously close to her Bible.

Startled, Hannah looked up, her eyes meeting those of the man who had collided with her. To her surprise, it was Jacob, the speaker from the Passion Conference. His face turned crimson as he realized what had happened.
