Roasting the ice king

Taehyung stormed out of Jungkook’s office, his frustration boiling over. He navigated the maze of cubicles and offices, barely noticing the curious glances from his colleagues. He turned a corner and nearly collided with Yoongi, who was holding a stack of files.

“Whoa, watch where you’re going!” Yoongi exclaimed, steadying himself.

Taehyung looked up, his face flushed with frustration. “Sorry, Yoongi. I’m just—so over it.”

Yoongi raised an eyebrow, taking in Taehyung’s agitated state. “You look like you’ve been through a battle. What happened?”

Taehyung exhaled sharply. “Jungkook and I had this huge argument about the project deal. He’s being impossible, dismissing the idea just because he’s afraid it might fail. And then he had the nerve to make it personal, like my style or something.”

Yoongi’s eyes widened in mock surprise. “Really? He went there? That’s low, even for him. What’s he got against your style?”

Taehyung rolled his eyes. “He said my ‘girly’ persona means I’m not capable of making good business decisions. He’s acting like because I dress a certain way, it somehow makes me less competent.”

Yoongi’s lips twitched into a smirk. “Sounds like Jungkook’s just mad because he can’t appreciate true fashion. I bet he’s still wearing the same boring suits he wore in college.”

Taehyung chuckled despite himself. “Probably. He’s so stuck in his ways that anything outside his comfort zone is a threat to him.”

Yoongi shook his head, laughing. “And to think I thought his biggest problem was his poker face. He’s clearly got issues with more than just his wardrobe.”

Before Taehyung could reply, Jimin appeared, casually draped his arm around Yoongi’s shoulders. “Hey, Taehyung! You look like you’ve been in a warzone. What’s up?”

Taehyung sighed deeply. “You wouldn’t believe the argument I just had with Jungkook. He’s being completely unreasonable.”

Jimin raised an eyebrow. “Unreasonable how?”

Taehyung detailed the argument, emphasizing how Jungkook had insulted his personal style to justify his refusal to support the project deal. As he spoke, Yoongi and Jimin listened with growing amusement.

“That’s classic Jungkook,” Yoongi said with a grin. “Always finding new ways to be a stubborn mule.”

Jimin chuckled. “I bet he’s the type who thinks a tie is the height of fashion. Maybe he’s still wearing a pager or something.”

Taehyung laughed. “I wouldn’t be surprised. He’s so conservative, he probably thinks anything outside his limited view is a threat.”

Jimin looked at Yoongi with a smirk. “Speaking of outdated, remember when Yoongi wore that leather jacket on our first date? I swear, he looked like he was auditioning for a role in a rock band.”

Yoongi gave Jimin a playful shove. “Hey, that jacket was stylish! Some people have to put in extra effort to stand out.”

Jimin’s expression softened as he gazed at Yoongi. “Well, I’m impressed every day. You make even the simplest outfits look good.”

Yoongi leaned in and kissed Jimin softly, a tender moment that only made Taehyung’s fake gagging more pronounced.

“Ugh, get a room, you two,” Taehyung said with a mock grimace.

Jimin grinned, still holding Yoongi close. “Oh, come on, Taehyung. It’s not our fault you’re missing out on some real romance.”

Yoongi added with a smirk, “Yeah, maybe if Jungkook had a bit more of that, he wouldn’t be such a grump all the time.”
