— the school day went by as usual. Eventually, home time came. The students all packed their bags and left the classroom in a second. Ezra groaned in realization that she's have to see Thomas's face soon. She packed her stuff up and exited the classroom along with her classmates.

— she walked to the dock. It was rather close to the school. As much as she wanted to bail on Thomas and go boating another day, she wasn't the type of person to do that. So she waited . . it almost seemed like Thomas wasn't going to show up. Until she heard a familiar voice ringing in her ears from a distance.

[💥] Thomas : " fuckkk!!! waittt!!!! sorry— sorry i'm late nerd! jeez you actually waited. Haha! seems like you really do care about me after all! Ain't that sweet? "

[📓] Ezra : " i . . urgh . . . i didn't want to. But i didn't have the heart to bail on you without telling you. Just . . "

— Ezra sighed and hopped into a nearby paddle boat and reached her hand out for Thomas to take.

[📓] Ezra : " come on . . i don't have all day. "

[💥] Thomas : " i— i don't need to hold your hand, nerd!! i can get in the myself boat just fine! i'm not 6. "

— Thomas hits Ezra's hand away before attempting to jump into the boat. He slipped and fell into the water. Ezra sat there and laughed at him then pulled him back into the boat. Thomas's face was red with embarrassment. He crossed his arms and turned away with a puff as he sat down on the boat.

[📓] Ezra : " yeah . . you got in the boat by yourself just fine hm? "

— Ezra teased sarcastically. Thomas looked angry, but refused to show any type of vulnerability in front of Ezra. He shrugged it off and looked away.

[💥] Thomas : " oh please, what happened was nothing but an accident! it's not like i fall every time i get into a boat. "

[📓] Ezra : " so you have went boating before? "

[💥] Thomas : " . . no. But i'd definitely never fall while getting into a boat again! it was just a one time thing. "

[📓] Ezra : " sure. "

— Ezra responds with a chuckle. She reached out for the rope that was tying the boat to the dock and untied it.

[📓] Ezra : " off to the sea we go! "

— the boat started to drift to the ocean as Ezra grabbed a peddle and started to paddle away. Thomas sat back, each time Ezra offered him to peddle with her, he'd just respond with " huh? sorry. i didn't hear you! the wind is really strong . . ". He refused to help her at all.

[💥] Thomas : " sooo nerd, do you have a destination in mind? "

[📓] Ezra : " just say my name right . . "

— Ezra groaned in irritation

[📓] Ezra : " we're going to . . oh right! to fucking no where. "

[💥] Thomas : " we're going to do the deed with nowhere? how is that going to happen lolzz . . "

[📓] Ezra : " i . . — urghh . . "

[📓] Ezra : " i meant we're just going wherever i peddle, i have no idea where we're going, but we'll end up somewhere soon, i hope. "

[💥] Thomas : " i really don't trust you with that, nerd. But you're the expert here! so i won't judge. Lead the way, captain!! "

[📓] Ezra : " you're so annoying . . "

[💥] Thomas : " awwh i love you too, Ezzy!!! "

[📓] Ezra : " what. "

[💥] Thomas : " what? "

— Thomas fell asleep later on lmao. He was snoring, even. Ezra just rolled her eyes at the sight and carried on peddling. She must admit though, now that Thomas was asleep, it was rather peaceful. Nothing but the sound of calming waves were heard. She paddled slowly. Taking a breath of fresh air as she looked around the scenery around her.

[💥] Thomas : " AUGHHHUUHH . . AUUGHHH . . ."

— which was occasionally interrupted by Thomas's snores. Ezra was not at all amused by it, yet despite that, she was still in awe of the beauty of nature surrounding her, not including Thomas, he looked like a wreck while he was asleep. No where near beauty.
