Chapter 9

SAM POV:

We reached at the Arora mansion.

AUTHOR POV:(Inside the mansion)

Sam: Where is the first aid kit?! *said sternly*

Sehaj pointed her bleeding finger towards the drawer near the kitchen counter.

There was silence till sam did her dressing.

Sam: Mind explaining this now?? *asked sternly and glaring at her*

Suddenly she started crying.

Sam: Hey! Hey! Stop crying. It's okay if you don't want-

SAM POV:

Before I can  complete my sentence.  My whole world stopped. My heart beat was on another level. She-she hugged me. Damn she looks so cute and tiny in my arms. I quickly hugged her back and started patting her back gently.

SEHAJ POV:

I was silent all the time cause I know, I'd burst out into tears. But I ended up crying. I don't know why but I feel safe with him. I never felt the way I feel with him. So, i hugged him tightly. It feels so good, I feel really safe in his embrace.

AUTHOR POV:

Sam: Kitten....*said patting her back gently* do you want to share...? *asked ever so softly*

Sehaj broke the hug and wiped her tears.

Sehaj: Sourav told you about my past friend things?? Right??! *asked wiping her tears which were continuously flowing down her face*

Sam: Umm....Yes! I'm sorry, if you didn't felt right but....actually I really want you to trust me...and I want to see you happy just happy...you never speak much, I never saw you smiling much that is why I am digging about the things that snatched that precious smile of yours.....I am begging you please share your pain!!! Please.....I promise that I won't judge you no matter what...! *said softly and wiping her tears while cupping her face*

Sehaj: T-Today is Devansh's birthday. I saw his photo posted on social media, it was of him and abhinav and their other friends. They all were enjoying. He seems very happy with them. H-He never missed me! And here I am! I'm thinking about were the fucking hell i lied!!!! I came from India to USA just because I didn't wanted to be near him....even in the country he lives because I don't want to remember all the things he said, I don't want to see his face!! I don't want!!! And I even started suffering from panic attac- *her eyes widened realising what she said*

Sam: *widened eyes* P-Panic a-att..attacks?! You are suffering from panic attacks?? That bastard made you suffer!! I swear kitten he will beg you to forgive him!! *said wiping her tears and still cupping her cheeks* Don't think much about the people who doesn't deserve you!! They really don't deserve a gem like you!!

Sehaj: Devansh never understood me that I never lied to him, the one who lied to him was abhinav who is still his fucking best friend!! *said with a slightly raised voice*

Sam: Don't worry kitten, you got me and from now on imma protect you even with my own life! If someone dared to hurt you now, I'd love to see that person in flames!! Just trust me!! I know it is hard to trust for you but please give a chance...think about it..and you don't have to force yourself, I'd wait for you as long as you are not ready!!....*said softly and smiling *  wait let me fetch water for you...* said and started going towards kitchen*

Sehaj: *smiles* You shouldn't have known the reason of my crying, if I don't trust you....! *said shrugging and going behind him*

Sam: oka-......wait!! WHATTT???!!!!
You-You trust me???? *as sehaj nodded he ran to her and hugged her tightly*

He hugged her tightly and twirling her around making her giggle. He stopped and was admiring her giggling face. She stopped after seeing him staring at her.

Sehaj: *raising her eyebrows* hmm? What happened?

Sam: N-Nothing! Let's make something for you. I know you are hungry. *nervous smile*

Sehaj: Yeah! I'm so hungry!! *said pouting and caresses her tummy*

Sam: Aww! My wild little kitten! *said pulling her cheeks and turning to make something to eat*

Sehaj: Hey! Why do you call me "wild little kitten" ?! *said while trying to sit on the kitchen counter*

Sam: *wearing the apron* umm.....Because you are just as fierce as a wild kitten and you really punch so hard. It still hurts! *said rubbing his cheeks and pouting cutely*

Sehaj: *chuckled* But that was your mistake. *said laughing*

Sam: Whatever! *said and joined her in laughing *

Sehaj: ok that's alright you call me wild kitten but little???* said again trying to sit on the kitchen counter but failed miserably*

Sam: Because of this.......*said while picking her up by her waist and placed her on the counter*

Both made an eye contact and was lost in each other's eyes, world around them seems to stop, it was just them. After a few minutes they broke the eye contact and looked away from each other.

Sam: A-Are you having ramen or some instant noodles at home? *said stepping back and avoiding the awkward situation*

Sehaj: T-They a-are there...*said pointing towards the drawer*

Sam: ok! *nervously smiles*

They made and ate while chit chatting about random things.

Sam: Ok then, I'll get going! *said getting up*

Sehaj: Yeah! It's too late. I'm sorry, I didn't noticed the time! *said feeling guilty*

Sam: It's ok kitten! Anything for you! *said smiling*

Sehaj was not able to hide her blush but luckily sam didn't saw that. She was feeling butterflies all over her stomach.

Sehaj: *they reached outside of sehaj's mansion* Hey listen!

Sam: Yes!! What happened??!

Sehaj: *chuckled* Calm down idiot! I wanted to say you something.

Sam: okay! Go ahead!

Sehaj: umm.....Thank you for everything!! *said extending her hand for a handshake*
