October, 2020.
Every girl dreams of having their own fairytale. Despite being in their early 20s or even mid-30s, it's undeniable they somehow wished to have their own godsend prince to complete the fairytale in their own lives.
Everything looked white around me. Fairies were flying here and there and the flowers bloomed most gloriously. I wasn't sure where I was but one thing for sure, this wasn't the reality. This was magical!
I heard the horse's neigh approaching. Coming from my front, between those high trees that separate the forest and this splendid waterfall. It has become my favourite escapism.
I could see him in his silhouette. A man riding a black horse coming from the forest as if he was lost in this world.
Is he... the prince I've been waiting for?
His eyes met mine and that had me smiling ear to ear. He looked dreamy, perfectly defined as the prince everyone wished for.
"Y/N" a familiar voice called my name. Though, it sounded so distant.
I looked around but there was no one. I turned to look at the unnamed prince and he wasn't there anymore. Where did he go?
"Y/N!" again, my name echoed. I got up from sitting beneath the shady tree, turning around to find the voice's owner. The bright sky had suddenly turned dark and leaves rattled together following the strong wind.
The fairies ran to their hideouts, sensing danger close. I was left alone and the sound from the waterfall had turned so distant when in fact, I was just metres away from it.
"L/N Y/N, I swear to God!" the voice screamed and I jumped out of my dream. I woke up, hearing my phone ringing non-stop with voices coming from the outside of my condo.
I took a glance at the digital clock on my nightstand, eyes widened at the time. Shit! I'm late!
I jumped out of the bed and ran to the front door. I know who was outside yelling for me. It's Tamara Honoka, my manager slash personal assistant.
I unlocked the door and the knockings stopped immediately. I swung the door open to see a 5'2 woman, her face slick with sweat and a bit reddish. Knowing Honoka, she must have been panicked as she couldn't reach me.
"Hey Honoka" I grinned innocently even when I was aware of the crime I just committed, jokingly.
"Don't hey me!" she huffed angrily and marched into my condo unit. I shut the door back and Honoka placed her handbag on the couch.
"Where were you last night? I've called you hundreds of times but none of them were answered. My messages were delivered, I doubt you read any of them" said Honoka with her arms crossed over her chest like a lady boss. I jutted my lower lip and approached her, taking her arm as I clung like a kid, attempting to comfort and calm her down.
"I was doing live last night until past midnight" I gave my reason.
"I know. I watched. Don't give me that. I was observing until the last minute" Honoka rolled her eyes, not buying my reason. Yeah, my mistake. I knew she was in my live, watching and observing the way I interacted with my fans— and supporters. I love it that way.
"What did you do next?" she squinted her eyes, sensing something from me. I grinned wider, one hand rubbing my non-itchy nape.
"I might have talked over the phone with..." I bit my bottom lip.
"With whom?" she was still glaring at me, waiting for the name to drop.
"Kenzo" I mumbled but she heard that.
