Lauren and Rhea's relationship continued to blossom, and they found themselves growing closer every day.

One evening, as they were cuddled up on the couch, Rhea turned to Lauren with a serious look on her face.

"Lauren, I want to take our relationship to the next level. I want to move in together," Rhea said, her eyes shining with excitement.

Lauren's heart skipped a beat. She had been thinking the same thing, but she hadn't expected Rhea to suggest it so soon.

"I'd love to," Lauren said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rhea grinned, relief and happiness washing over her face. "Really?"

Lauren nodded, her heart racing with excitement. "Yes, really. I want to wake up every morning with you by my side."

Rhea took Lauren's hand, her fingers intertwining with hers. "Me too, Lauren. Me too."

As they hugged, Lauren knew that she had found her forever home in Rhea's arms.

Chapter 12: The Next Step

Lauren and Rhea were packing up Lauren's belongings, excitement and chatter filling the air.

Normani walked into the room, a scowl on her face. "What's going on here?"

Lauren turned to her, a box in her hand. "Rhea and I are moving in together. We're packing up my stuff."

Normani's expression darkened. "You're leaving? Just like that?"

Lauren nodded. "Yes, Normani. I'm happy, and I want to start this new chapter in my life with Rhea."

Normani crossed her arms, her eyes flashing with anger. "You're just going to leave us? Your bandmates? Your friends?"

Rhea stepped forward, her voice calm and soothing. "Normani, she's not leaving you. She's just starting a new chapter in her lives. Ya'll still be friends, still be bandmates."

Normani snorted. "Yeah, right. You'll be too busy playing house to care about us."

Lauren felt a pang of guilt, but Rhea's hand in hers gave her strength. "We'll always be here for you, Normani. But we need to do this. We need to be together."

Normani huffed, but eventually stormed out of the room, leaving Lauren and Rhea to continue packing in peace.

As they worked, Lauren leaned into Rhea. "Thanks for standing up for us. For our love."

Rhea smiled, her eyes shining with love. "Always, Lauren. Always."
