We arrived at his parents' house. As expected, it was like a mansion in my eyes. The house was filled with maids, and his parents were already waiting for us. It seemed like his older brother had already told them about it.

Mrs. Kim: "Ah, look… it's them. Have a seat."

Jimin and I sat down, facing them both together. I felt scared and also guilty at the same time that Jimin had to go through this because of my stupidity.

Mr. Kim: "I heard what happened—that you quit studying. What's wrong with you two? Care to explain yourselves?"

Jimin: "Well, Father… we're already planning to get married."

I closed my eyes, not wanting to see their reactions as I could hear his mother gasping.

Mrs. Kim: "Marriage?! That fast?"

Jimin: "Well, actually, Mom… she is… pregnant. I don't know what to tell you. It's just… we were finding a good timing, but now… we already have the courage to tell you guys about it."

Mrs. Kim: "Jimin, you know that you're still studying, right?"

Mr. Kim:  "Ah, I know that I said I want a grandson, but… this is too sudden. What can we do? It's already here anyway. We should just be happy."

Mrs. Kim: "But, honey—"

Mr. Kim: "His girlfriend was pregnant. Don't stress her out. She's also struggling, okay? They're also struggling."

Jimin: "Thanks, Dad. Since… she is pregnant, I want to ask for a marriage. I can just… let her go off, you know?"

Mr. Kim "I understand… however, I've found out that before you dated my son, you dated someone… before, that Jeon one? A son of my rival's company."

Jimin and I looked at each other as I looked back at his father with a confused expression.

Y/n: "Y-yes… but we already broke up. It's already in the past—"

Mr. Kim: "I like you, Y/n… but, I want the best for my son. After I grant the marriage, you make sure that you're indeed carrying his child."

Jimin: "I… trust me, Father… she is."

He stuttered. I just lowered my head down, knowing that his father already knew but didn't want to slip it out because he didn't want to disappoint Jimin, as he truly knew how much Jimin liked me.

Marriage… I am not ready for that, but what can I do? The baby is already here, and I have no one to support me but Jimin. Marriage is the only way to keep this baby away from Jungkook and from any danger. But, my heart still calls for his name. Jimin is the one who's here for me as always, but my heart calls for another man's name. I feel bad that Jimin already knows that I can't love him as much as I love Jungkook.

Every time I look at him, all I can see is Jungkook. Now, I am starting to be like him, just like what he did to me. He only sees me as his ex-girlfriend, and that's what I'm doing to Jimin now…

What really is wrong with me?

Jimin: "Y/n, are you okay?"

Y/n: "H-huh?"

Mr. Kim: "Seems like she's still tired. You should go back home now and let her rest. She's still confused about what's happening. Let's talk about this matter tomorrow again, Jimin."

Jimin: "Yes, Father."

Mr. Kim: "You two take care."

After that, we immediately headed back home. My head felt like bursting out because of confusion, and my heart felt tight. I am so confused about the feeling that I am holding.

Jimin: "Tell me, what's bothering you? I can help you out, okay? Just tell me…"

Y/n: "Is this… the only best way to make everything right?"

Jimin: "I think so. You have two choices actually, and I am not going to force you to come with me. One is if you're willing to marry me and live your life with me. I reassure you… you will get the best life you ever asked for. Second is if you want to tell Jungkook about being pregnant and come back to him. I want you to stay, but I also don't want to force you."

My face turned into a frown. There are only two choices? I think for a moment. One decision will always lose something. One is I will lose Jungkook, the second is I will lose Jimin. There is always a risk in every choice.

And I made up my mind now.

Y/n: "No… no matter what happens, I won't tell Jungkook about me being pregnant and carrying his child. I… I just…"

Jimin: "What would happen if you do?"

Y/n: "He will surely do the cruelest thing I could imagine. Just imagine how he killed his ex-girlfriend without any hesitation."

Jimin: "Right…"

Suddenly, my phone began to ring. It was an unknown number, but I didn't hesitate to answer it.

Taehyung: "Hey!"

Y/n: "Taehyung? Why… and how did you get my number?"

Taehyung: "Not the right time for that. I've been following his secretary, Yoongi. They're planning something. I think Jungkook will be flying somewhere. I'm not sure of what I heard, but I think he's going to the U.S. for some reason."

Y/n: "What!?"

Jimin: "What's wrong? What happened?!"

Y/n: "Wait… what happened next?"

Taehyung: "His flight was today, and I think they're planning something more, but it's hard to find out. I'm helping you again, you should double your pay. Don't you still love him? If I were you… I would go after him."

His words struck my mind, even though I had married Jimin, there was always a missing piece deep inside my heart. I would be living in a way that I didn't feel complete.

I immediately stood up and grabbed Jimin.

Y/n: "Airport… let's… let's drive to the airport!"

Jimin: "Why exactly?!"

Y/n: "I will explain to you later. Just… drive me off!"

Jimin immediately grabbed his keys as we drove off in his car, trying his best to get there expeditiously, even though he was bewildered by the unfolding events. I hung up on Taehyung as my anxiety intensified with each passing second.

I don't know why, but my heart kept urging me to follow him.

As we reached the airport, I immediately scanned the area for him, but it was an impossible task. There were throngs of people everywhere. I inquired with some personnel, but they informed me that it was already too late. The last flight to the U.S. had already departed.

I found myself rooted to the spot, disbelief and panic etched on my face as Jimin stood behind me, his expression laced with worry.

Jimin: "Y/n… please, stop already…"

Jimin pleaded, I could feel tears welling up in my eyes, and my heart raced.

Jimin attempted to approach me, but before he could, my vision began to blur, and I found myself suddenly collapsing. Jimin caught me in his arms, his concern and panic evident as he immediately summoned medical assistance at the airport.
