When I wanted everything to end, someone pulled me out of that illusion. When I tried to keep fighting regardless of the danger, that same person tossed me aside. So I went off on my own. I found friends and happiness. I thought that was the end. Turns out, it was only the beginning.

The Titans tower was as lively as ever. "The Tacos are ready!~" Cyborg yelled from the kitchen. "Oh, yeah! I've been waiting all day for these sweet Mama's!" Beast boy bounced in his chair like a child. "Oh, how the aroma of the Toco's smells so very delicious!" Starfire added.

Raven placed the plates on the table using her magic. "Let's not make a mess this time..." she referred to the boys. "Oh please, we at least have some manners!" Cyborg replied, while Beast boy dug in like an animal. Raven gave them a look of doubt. I had just come back from training.

I entered to see everyone enjoying themselves with small talk and Tacos. "Has anyone seen the throw blanket I keep on my bed? It's missing." Raven turned to me. "Did you check in the laundry room?" I sighed, feeling frustrated. "Yes, I've looked just about everywhere,"

Beast boy spoke up with bits of food in his mouth, "Oh, earlier we were playing hide and seek! I was hiding under that blanket! Don't know where it is now though!" He informed me. "I'm sure I locked my door. Why would you hide in my room of all places?" I asked him. "Cuz they won't look in places they can't go, duh!" He said.

I put my hand on my forehead, feeling the headache come in. "Yeah, about that! When we finally found him, Beast boy ran off, so that blanket is probably in the hallway somewhere!" Cyborg explained. I was about to turn around. "About that," Starfire stopped me. "There was a blanket in the hall while I was chasing Raven! I used my lasers and the blanket caught on fire... But not to worry! I placed it in the bathtub full of water!"

I could feel my head pounding. "You what?! Do any of you know how important that blanket was to me?? This is exactly why I lock my door and even have signs telling you to keep out!!" I said in a voice that was almost shouting. "Really?! I thought you locked your door to hide the copies of your ridiculous costume?" Beast boy joked. I gave him a glare!

"Ugh! All of you are so childish!!" I stormed out and went straight to the bathroom. The others sat in silence while looking at each other in confusion as if they'd done nothing wrong. When I arrived at the tub, I could see the black remnants of Ash and fabric... I could see the tiny outlines of stars and expensive lining. The blanket was originally red with little black stars and my mother's name written on the tag.

Seeing it in such a state made my fist clench and my eyes harden. If they had just stayed out of my room, non of this would have happened... I turned, no longer wanting to see it. Raven was waiting outside of the door. "Hey, Robin, we're sorry about your blanket..." she tried to speak. I walked past her. She only looked at me with pity. "Robin I-" "Don't." I cut her off while standing down the hall, in front of my room door.

"I'm... Going out for a bit." I said without looking at her. I closed my door but I could tell she was still standing right outside. I took a deep breath as my body slid down the side of the door. Usually I wouldn't be so emotional about such things...

I guess that just goes to show how much I've been ignoring my past. To have it all be burned up in front of me felt painful for the first time in a long time. I could blame whoever I want, but doing so won't bring my parents back, nor will it return my mother's blanket.

That night I left for a while. I wore a hoodie since it was cold out. I sat in a well known dinner that was open 24 hours. It was just me and the workers. "More coffee?" A woman would ask. I'd take it and continue to sit in silence. Then after a while I felt a bit better about the situation. Of course by that time I'd thought about asking Raven to fix the blanket with her magic. It wouldn't be the same as the original, but I'd be Better than staying miserable about it.
