That night my bestfriend's brother changed my life in the most unexpected way.

We drove away from his house around 2am, the entire time I thought he was just saying sweet words to have sex, but when we stopped in the middle of the field he caught me with the things he said.

"I know."

" What do you mean? " I asked with wonder.

Sterling continues " You think I'm going to use you for sex, but no, I want you, yes but I also want your happiness, the way you smile, and everything else that's perfect about you."

We sat in the back of his pickup truck staring at the stars till I doze off.
I awaken on a couch wrapped in Sterling's arms. With Courtney, my bestfriend, staring directly at me.
