Jaune had lived his whole life in Eridu, but it was far from a life of comfort. He was homeless, surviving in the worst parts of the city's slums. The people in the slums were often looked down upon by the rest of Eridu's citizens, seen as the city's forgotten shadows. Jaune was no exception. He had grown accustomed to the disdainful glances and the whispers behind his back.
Despite the hardships, Jaune had always found a way to get by. He knew every alley and hidden corner of the slums, places where he could find shelter and scavenge for food. The slums were his home, and he had learned to navigate its dangers long before the Hollow State descended.
When the Hollow State hit, the slums were hit the hardest. The Lost Hollows seemed to be drawn to the area, as if sensing the vulnerability of its inhabitants. Jaune watched as the few friends he had were either taken by the Hollows or fled in terror. He was left alone, but he refused to give up.
His first encounter with a Lost Hollow had awakened something within him. The fear that had once paralyzed him was replaced by a fierce determination. He couldn't afford to be weak; the people of the slums needed someone to stand up for them. Jaune took it upon himself to become that protector Of his home.
[This is how the story begins]
In the past, life in Eridu was a constant struggle for Jaune. To survive in the slums, he often resorted to stealing. It wasn't something he was proud of, but it was a necessity. The people of Eridu had grown indifferent to the plight of those living in the slums. They turned a blind eye to the suffering, and Jaune was just another face in the crowd.
Stealing was dangerous, but it was the only way Jaune could get by. He became adept at slipping through the shadows, taking what he needed to survive. Most people didn't care enough to stop him, but there were always those who saw an opportunity to exploit the vulnerable. Jaune frequently encountered individuals who tried to kidnap him, hoping to make a quick profit by selling him off. The authorities did nothing to stop these crimes; the slums were a forgotten part of the city, and its residents were left to fend for themselves
Jaune learned to be cautious, always on the lookout for danger. He trusted no one and kept to himself, moving silently through the streets. The constant threat of being captured or worse made him wary, but it also made him resilient. He developed a keen sense of awareness, able to detect danger before it struck.
Despite the harshness of his life, Jaune never lost his sense of compassion. He would often share his stolen food with other homeless children, knowing that they too were struggling to survive. This small act of kindness set him apart from the rest. Even in the darkest times, Jaune held onto his humanity
In the harsh streets of Eridu, Jaune had learned to fend for himself from a young age. The police, corrupt and ruthless, often picked on the children of the slums, exploiting their vulnerability for their own gain. It was during one of these dark times that Jaune met W, a fierce and defiant girl who, despite her young age, harbored a deep hatred for the injustices around her.
