Y/n walked with his butler in their kingdom owned gardens the roses and plants getting illuminated by the sunset... it was a late evening. Soon a few guards came up to them looking rather pissed off.

They threw a boy on the ground. His body was bloody, he looked about your age. He looked tired, wearing just a thin shirt sewed from fabrics maybe made by old flour bags and loose pants held by a old looking belt, his dirty blondish hair messy and dirty, grey eyes holding an annoyed  expression. The guard spoke up in a deep voice.

"This thief was found sneaking into the bakery of the castle. What shall we do with him, your majesty?"

Y/n sighed he looked down at the boy pitying him..

"take him to a guest room"

the guards were stunned by your reaction, exchanging glances. Finally, the one that brought the boy to you spoke up.

"Your majesty... are you sure..? He's just a mere commoner. And he's a thief, he attempted to rob us in the middle of the night."

"just do it or I'll tell my dad: the king.. your disobeying orders"

The guards became quiet, but then quickly got scared. They gulped, knowing the king was strict and a bit cruel at times. One saluted you. The boy looked up into y/n's eyes with a feeling of suspicion

"Of course, my prince. We shall do as you say."

They pulled the boy up from the ground, and started dragging him out of the throne room, towards the guest rooms.

  Y/n gently held his main butler's arm as they walked back to the castle

  The butler, John, who looked around 35, has brown hair and he was quite the good looking guy... he wore glasses that made his facial features pop in the right ways.

"May I ask, prince, why are you so kind to that boy? He did try to steal from the castle, after all..."

Y/n sighed he looked at his butler

"I don't know why you guys make it such a big deal.. we have plenty of food..he was hungry"

John let out a little sigh and shook his head.

"Prince... he snuck into the castle, and into the castle bakery. There was nothing stopping him from hurting the innocent people in here, or the staff here. Not to mention, if he had tried stealing something else, let's say something more valuable, like a weapon in the armory... it could've ended quite badly."

Y/n laughed waving his hands

"Yeah well it's not like he would have gone that far into killing anyone right?"

John just rolled his eyes not even caring on changing y/n's mind he knew he was a stubborn boy.
They made their way to the palace they were greeted by the knights.

A few of the knights guarding the entrance of the main section of the castle gently smiled at you, watching you go by as John and you entered.
They were a friendly bunch, and all of them really liked you, respecting you and being close to you.

They weren't like the usual emotionless castle guards, who were just there. These knights actually joked and chuckled, but always stayed on guard.

Y/n  put his element umbrella down and gave it to one of the maids

The maid, a girl who looked about 24, gently took the umbrella and bowed with a smile. She was a sweet and quite cheerful person, you knew her since she was your maid.

"Thank you, my prince. Shall I go put it into your room?"

She spoke with a warm voice, holding the umbrella carefully.
