JAYLA POV
waking up to the sound of this stupid alarm , she groaned and sat up slowly . she fluttered her eyes open , looking around the room to adjust to the light .
jail visit today @ 1:30 p.m was written on her calendar , which made her check the time . 12:25 p.m. she got out of bed , walking to her bathroom and turning the light on . she squinted her eyes due to the bright light . she opened the door of her shower , turning the faucet to the hottest setting .
she got in and let her hair get wet , grabbing the shampoo . she grabbed her shampoo , putting a good amount in her hand and lathering it into her hair . she washed it out , then grabbed the body wash and conditioner .
she grabbed her loofa , opening the body wash n putting a bit of it on the loofa . she then put conditioner in her hair . while the conditioner was sitting , she washed her body and shaved . she then washed it out , stopping the shower .
she stepped out and grabbed her towel . 2 towels . one for her hair , one for her body . she wrapped her hair in the towel and then wrapped another towel around her body . she grabbed her makeup case , grabbing her primer , concealer brush , makeup brushes , etc .
1:14 p.m.
she slipped into her heels and grabbed her keys , purse , and other essentials . she walked out of the house and shut the front door behind her , walking to her car . she unlocked it and got in , inserting the key into the ignition . she turned on the air , connecting her phone to bluetooth and backing out of the driveway .
"girls need love" by summer walker started playing , which made her turn up the volume a bit as she hummed . she pulled into the parking lot , pulling the key out of the ignition and hopping out of the car , closing it and locking it .
she squealed in excitement , walking inside .
1:40 p.m.
" how's life . " keem broke the silence . " um - good i guess , still kind of adjusting to this whole situation " she mumbled , fidgeting with her bracelet . keem just hummed in response , making her speak up . " hey , do yu know when yr being released ? i've been trying to find out for a while . " she spoke up . " uhm .. " keem hummed .
" times up . " an officer said , making jayla roll her eyes , also keem . " bye .. " she waved , making keem wave back . she walked back to her car , getting in it and putting the key in the ignition . she stopped at a mcdonald's because she was hungry , pulling into the drive thru .
" welcome to mcdonald's , what can i get yu ? " the employee through the speaker asked . " hi , can i get .. a 10 piece nugget with a double cheeseburger " jayla said as she reached into her purse for the money . " okay , yr total will be $8.96 . " the employee said . " pull up to the next window " jayla pulled up to the next window , grabbing the money . she paid for it and pulled up to the next window .
" thank yu " she said as she was handed the mcdonald's bag . she rolled up her window , driving off . she decided to stop at a park to eat , since she did need a break from being in the house all day . she got out , carrying the bag with her . she was walking to a bench until she bumped into somebody , making them grunt .
" oh , i'm sorry " she apologized quickly , looking up to see .. KAY FLOCK ?? she had to double check to make sure it was him . she looked him up and down , scanning every feature . holy shit it is . " it's okay .. " he mumbled , not noticing it was jayla . until he did a double look . well .. triple look . " kay ??! " " jayla ??! " they said in sync , making them go silent . " um .. " kay mumbled , not knowing what to say . " yea , i'm js gonna go .. " she said nervously , walking away .

KAY POV
he furrowed his brows in confusion . is that really jayla ?. he thought . he watched her walk away , and just walked to his car . he put the key in the ignition , driving home .
5:55 p.m.
he took a hit of a blunt he had in his hands , reading comments from his live . " i saw yu talking to keem sister .. " he read a comment out loud . " nah , i wasn't talkin to ha .. she bumped into me . " he protested . " yu want ha number ? " someone in the comments said . " uh .. sure ?? " he muttered . " js for the hell of it ig . " kay said . " alright , just BE CAREFUL . " the comment said .
