A Difficult Love

Chapter 2

Lucy POV
I was listening to the boss talk about this new bad guy that escaped from prison and now is on the loose in Hawaii and our job is take him back where he belongs but right now we are having a difficult time with that cause it's unsure where the man has gone on the island but we are going to find him

About five minutes later the meeting was dismissed and I was about to walk down stairs to my chair until boss tapped on my shoulder "Hey Luc I need you run this to the FBI office really quick we just there approve on something and when you get back take Kai with you to do a stroll around the areas where you think are prisoner might be hiding" and I reply with "You got it boss" and I head to the fbi office with paperwork it seems and shake my head keep making my way there

Kate POV
Look don't get me wrong I love my job but the meeting after meeting with this job is going to make me lose it one day especially when they don't look at the evidence right like come on what can possib-

*knock knock*

And I look towards the door and say "Yes? come in" and I look up to Lucy there with a smile on her face and she says "Hi Love" and I smile at her as she comes in and close the door behind her and i noticed her with papers in her hands so I question "What's that Luc?" And she looks down at the papers "Oh these are for you babe" and I look at her with confusion as I take them from her hand and read them over and I nod as I read and i sign the papers but I feel a stare and I look up at her "I can feel you staring Luc" "What no I am not staring" and I laugh "Do you know that I am FBI agent right so I am kind of top notch" and she laughs at me I look at her " Oh really Ms.Top Notch FBI Agent?" And I put the papers done my desk and walk towards her "How may assist you NCIS Lady?" And Lucy laughs and questions "We shouldn't be role playing at work it's inappropriate" and I laugh at her and grab her hands put them up to my face and I smile at her and suddenly my phone goes off that is on my desk and I walk over to it and pick it up "Hello? Yes this is she. Yes of course. On my way." And I sigh

And Lucy smiles at me and walks over to me and puts her hands back on my face "Go get them Ms.Top Notch FBI Agent" and smile at that comment and I was caught off guard when she kissed my cheek and I was about to kiss her on the lips when my door busted open with one of my coworkers "Come Whistler we are waiting on you" and I nod my head and say " Alright I am going" and he leaves and I was about to leave to until Lucy grabs me and kisses me on lips and pulls away quickly and she says "Just a quick one for the road" and I nod and leave my office and Lucy is right behind me with the papers in her hands and we both go our separate ways

Lucy POV
As I go up the elevator wiping my laps since Kate lip stick was on my lips still and elevator stops and I walk out and I was automatically met with Ernie and says "You still got some in the corner of your lips" and I quickly wipe them and mouth thank you as I walk to bosses office with the papers signed and I knock on the door and she says come in and I go in "Here you go boss for what you asked for" and she replies with thank you and I leave her office

Then I met up with Kai to go investigate around the island that we might think our suspect is hiding as I am driving Kai speaks up "Hey Luc, Me and Jesse are going out for drinks later after work are u down to come or???" And I respond with "Umm idk man I gotta check with my girlfriend first cause I think she wanted to go out tonight"  "Oh alright and I didn't know you swing that way?" "Oh is that that a problem?" "Nah nah nothing wrong with it I got no problem with it I support you" "Oh thanks man" I said with a laugh and I stop at spot where map tells me to.

We get off the car and put on our bullet proof vest and our ear pieces in and I close the car. When we walk closer it looks like abandon house I decide to go the front way and he goes around the back. So I knock on the door saying "NCIS" "Open up" and no response and I say "Alright coming in make yourself know if you are in the house" and I walk into the house looking left and right make sure to watch my back and suddenly hear something drop breaking and I radio Kai saying if he there and he says no he isn't there yet he is looking a backyard still but he on his way now and I radio to hurry

I peak my head out just to make eye contact with the suspect and he comes charging at me making me drop my weapon and he stragglers on top of me and I poke his eyes making him grab his eyes and I socked him right in the face causing him to fall to his side and he was about to tackle me again when Jesse came and said "Don't even think about it" and guy was about to make run for it behind him when Kai showed up right there and shook his head and guy sighed and put his hands up and wrapped his fingers around his head and Kai put cuffs on him and Jesse helped me up saying "You alright Luc?" "Yeah I am good I am probably going to get checked out just to be safe" "Yeah don't worry we will take this guy back to the station" "Thanks Jesse I better get going" and he nods and leaves with Kai and I left to the hospital for a check up
