He loves his wife and children more than anything but never show it in front of his kids. He is way too strict to his children except for his daughter . He is shattered after the death of his elder son and daughter in law. He may be ruthless or dangerous for the outer world but he is completely timid in his room.

She belongs to a punjabi family. She is a cool mother. Her children's opinions do matter to her. She and her husband fought against all odds to get married. she loves her mother in law because even if she (mother in law)  is an orthodox , she always supported her and gave her a chance to put forward her opinion. She is 60 years old . After her son and daughter in law's death she has confided herself in her room. She rarely comes out of the room. And has lost the charm she once held.
