CHAPTER - 2

Next Morning ,

Ranveer : baba sa aap yug ka dhyaan rakhiyega, hum aate hain meeting khatam kerke.

( Baba, please take care of Yug, I will come after finishing the meeting. )

Inderjeet nodded his head. Ranveer left after kissing yug's forehead.

Other side .

On call,

Manvi : ji Mr. Williams, haan order ready hai . (keeping her phone between her shoulder and head)

(Yes mr. Williams, yes order is ready. )

Mr. William : Mrs Malhotra can you come to The Bay View restaurant, actually I have prepared a surprise for your aunt (blushing) you know what I mean.

Manvi : (wiping her hands on a towel )off course uncle William I will reach there by 11.

Mr.William : thank you Beta . (great fully)

Manvi : (genuinely) uncle aap kaisi baat kar rahe hain . Yeh toh hamara farz tha , aap hamari cute si aunty ko anniversary surprise dain aur ham,  isme aapki itni help toh ker hi sakte hain. (cutely)

Mr .William : offcourse my child . I will now bring her there . Bye beta.

Manvi :  bye uncle, all the best .

Mr William and his wife are manvi's neighbour. It's their 50th proposing  anniversary , on this day Mr William has proposed his wife 50 years back. Now a restaurant has been built there so he thought to recreate that day . They do not have any children , they treat Manvi and preet as their own daughters. He informed Manvi to prepare a special chocolate cake which is Mrs William's favourite flavour . He planned to again propose to his wife the same way, he had done 50 years ago with a chocolate cake , Diamond ring at 12:00 p.m. and Manvi was helping him out . Manvi is so old school , when it comes to love that's why she fell for Aarav . His small efforts, action and gestures made her fall in love with him . He was a soothing balm for her, even when he is no more, his memories work as an ointment to her wounds.

She left for the restaurant where she witnessed all the love the old couple had for each other . Despite not having children their bond is so strong, where people in society say a child is what makes the bond stronger between a husband and wife . As she was busy adoring them , suddenly her eyes caught a scene on the street outside the restaurant where a toddler boy of age 1 or less than that was crying in the man's arms. The man was so muscular . It seemed as if he was choking the child. She immediately rushed outside and snatched  the child from him and asked him in an angry tone.

Manvi : ( in anger ) aap is chhote bacche ke sath aise kaise behave kar sakte hain.

The little boy hugged her tight and stopped crying  instantly as if finding Solace in her warm motherly embrace . Manvi kept caressing his back .

The man : (annoyed) Madam ji main iska papa hoon.

Manvi : aapki harkaton se lagta toh nahi. (suspecting him )

The man : ( hesitant) woh actually main jyada yahan rehta nahi . Aur iski aai abhi jara shopping ke liye gayi hai . Woh mujhse abhi jyada ghula mila nahi hai isliye. (sweating  profusely)

Manvi : mujhe lagta hai he needs to pee . ( lied )

The man :  hain ji? (confused )

Manvi : usse susu aayi  hai... Haina beta?

She signed the little kid and  winked at him, which means she is telling him to follow her words , which he did without lagging any time behind. He nodded his head .
