Jake's heart nearly stopped when Sunghoon suddenly pulled out a gun, the cold metal gleaming ominously in the dim light of the room. The air was thick with tension, and the threat of violence hung heavily over them.

Sunghoon pointed the gun straight at Heeseung's forehead, his hand steady despite the fury blazing in his eyes. Heeseung stood his ground, meeting Sunghoon's gaze with an unyielding glare, rage radiating from every pore.

"I will kill you today," Sunghoon gritted through his teeth, his voice low and trembling with rage.

"I'd like to see you try, bastard," Heeseung replied coolly, the calmness in his voice like a challenge, mocking Sunghoon's anger.

Jake's world spun as he witnessed the scene unravel. His heart pounded in his chest, a sickening rhythm that matched his rising panic. He couldn't bear to see his two husbands on the brink of destroying each other. Desperate to stop them, he cane between them, pleading, his voice shaking. "Please, stop this madness! You're brothers for god's sake!"

But Sunghoon, blinded by his rage, shoved Jake aside with a roughness that made him stumble and fall to the ground. The betrayal stung more than the physical pain, a sharp reminder of the fractures within their 'family'.

Seizing the moment as Sunghoon's attention wavered, Heeseung swung his fist with brutal force, sending Sunghoon crashing into a glass table. The table shattered beneath him, the sharp crack echoing in the room. Blood trickled from a fresh cut on Sunghoon's head, and the gun clattered to the floor, slipping beneath the couch.

Despite the injury, the fight raged on. Both men, driven by unchecked emotions, lunged at each other, their movements wild and desperate.

Jake scrambled to his feet, his heart in his throat, and ran to the guards stationed outside. "They're fighting!" he shouted, his voice cracking with urgency. "Please, you have to stop them!"

The guards exchanged uneasy glances but stood firm, their expressions impassive. "I'm sorry, sir, but we're not authorized to intervene unless instructed by them directly."

"What do you mean you can't?" Jake's voice rose, a mixture of frustration and despair. Tears welled in his eyes, spilling over as he pleaded. "They're going to hurt each other!"

"We understand, sir, but we are bound by orders. It's out of our hands."

Jake felt a deep sense of humiliation and desperation. They didn’t view him as family—he knew that. But to be powerless in this moment was unbearable. “I order you to stop them!” Jake demanded, his voice raw with anguish.

“Sorry, sir, but we can’t,” the guard repeated, his tone regretful but resolute

Feeling a mix of panic and desperation, Jake knew he had to act quickly. This wasn't the time to feel helpless. "Give me your phone," he demanded, his voice steady with resolve, and one of the guards reluctantly complied.

With trembling fingers, he dialed Jay's number, each ring stretching into eternity.

"Hello?" Jay's voice came through the line, steady and reassuring, a lifeline amidst the chaos.

"Jay! They're fighting—really badly! You have to stop them," Jake cried, his voice breaking with fear.

"Okay, thanks for telling me, puppy. I'm on my way. Just stay calm for me, okay?" Jay reassured him, his tone firm yet gentle. "Pass the phone to the guards."

Jake quickly handed the phone over, and Jay's voice carried authority through the speaker. "You have my permission. Stop them immediately."

With Jay's command, the guards rushed into the room, hesitant but determined. They attempted to separate Heeseung and Sunghoon, but the two resisted, their anger still boiling over.

"Let go of me, or I'll kill you!" Sunghoon shouted, his voice filled with fury and desperation.

The guards, intimidated, released them and stepped back, unsure of what to do next.

Sunghoon aimed another punch at Heeseung, but Jay burst into the room, grabbing his wrist with surprising strength and pushing the two apart.

"What the hell are you doing? Get a grip, both of you!" Jay shouted, his voice echoing with authority, cutting through the chaos like a knife.

Heeseung straightened his shirt, brushing off the dust with a dismissive gesture. "This isn't over," he muttered under his breath, defiance still smoldering in his eyes.

Jay turned to Jake, his expression softening into concern. "Are you okay, Jake?" he asked, stepping closer, his voice gentle amidst the tension.

Jake nodded, though his voice was weak, the fear still lingering. "I'm fine," he said, trying to sound convincing.

Jay enveloped him in a comforting hug, his arms a refuge from the storm. "I'm sorry you had to see that."

Jake pulled away, forcing a smile through the lingering fear. "I'm okay, really."

"Fuck..Jake I—" Sunghoon started, his voice filled with regret, a shadow of his earlier anger, as he moved toward him.

"Don't," Jake interrupted, his voice strained, a wall between him and Sunghoon's remorse. "Just..Just leave me alone please."

Sunghoon and Heeseung exchanged guilty looks, realization dawning on them like a heavy cloud. They had been so consumed by their feud that they had forgotten about Jake.

"What were you two thinking?" Jay asked, running a hand through his hair in exasperation, his voice carrying the weight of disappointment.

Neither Sunghoon nor Heeseung answered. Silence hung heavily between them as they retreated to their rooms, leaving Jay and Jake standing amidst the wreckage of their emotions.
