Chapter 1: Into Metro Manila

It has been a year since the revolution against Judge Claude Frollo. Notre Dame has been quite peaceful ever since. It was currently evening, Quasimodo and his gargoyle friends Hugo, Victor and Laverne are playing a round of poker when all of a sudden, Victor had an interesting thought.

"What do you all think the future will be like?"

"Why do you ask?" Stressed Laverne.

"Oh I'm just curious that's all" Victor answers.

"They might have flying contraptions that will make people fly!" Hugo exclaimed.

As the gargoyles start discussing their thoughts with each other, Quasimodo starts thinking about the future as well. He imagines buildings as tall as the cathedral. Inventions that can do the chorus for him and even flying carriages that can take him anywhere he pleases.

"Uh Quasi? Are you okay?" Victor asked him while slightly nudging him.

"Huh? Oh yes I'm alright. I was just thinking." Quasimodo replies while scratching his head.

"Well, what about?" Victor asks him with a hint of curiosity.

"Uhm well about your question about the future."

"Then what's your take on the future?" Hugo buts in.

"Well...I imagine buildings as tall as the cathedral and possibly carriages that can fly!"

As Quasimodo answers Hugo, a portal opens up behind him and pulls him in. He tried grabbing on to his table filled with his wooden figures he created however, it wasn't effective at all. Quasimodo wakes up in someone's bedroom. The bedroom was filled with a lot of project sekai merchandise. Posters of the many bands decorated the walls. Shelves filled with different anime figurines such as figurines of Megurine Luka and Hatsune Miku.

"Wha- where am I? This isn't Notre Dame anymore."

Quasimodo decides to stay inside the room and rest for a while. Meanwhile in a high school close by, the grade 12 students were having their graduation ceremony.

"Congratulations Batch 2024!"

As the principal congratulated the batch, all students threw their graduation caps up in the air as they cheered. As the ceremony ends, a group of six friends gather at the back of the venue.

"We did it guys!" A young girl named Anne exclaimed.

"Brotha, I am tireeeeed. I can't feel my braincells anymore dawg." Ani, the eldest of the group adds in.

"Bro same...I really need a break." Mimi, the second eldest complained.

"YEAAAAAHHHHHH FREEDOM RAAAAAHHHHH" Cheered Mika.

"Finally. Well back to Project sekai then." Kris says in relief.

"What are your guy's plans this summer?" Asked Fredri.

The 6 friends continue to talk about their plans this summer. Anne plans to rank up on Dress to impress while Ani plans to go to different places around the Philippines. Mika plans to play alongside with Ryry on dress to impress while Kris plans to buy more cosplays same as Mimi. As for Fredri, she plans to watch more live bands and play with her cats.

The parents then approach the group to congratulate them and give them graduation bouquets. The group then parted ways to celebrate their grand victory. Fast forward a couple hours later, it is now evening. Ani and her family are now on their way home. As they arrive, Ani's dog Bailey greats them. Ani proceeds to play with her for a bit before going to her room.
