I was happy. Beyond happy.

There was a smile constantly plastered on my face. I knew, he too had noticed that but didn't made any comment about that. I'm very glad that he didn't, because I wouldn't be able to explain him.

I was happy that he remembered his promise. He remembered that he had to buy me the saree.

As we ate our respective food, we left for his car.
Four and half hours had been already passed as there was only half an hour left for him to go for his office.

I opened the door for passenger seat and realized something, "If you'll drop me home and go for your office, then it'll take one hour. You'll be late."

Although, his office was in the way to my home but coming back from there to his office would kill a lot of his time.

He thought for a second then uttered, "You know how to drive?" to which I nodded, "Perfect then, you drop me at the work then go at your place. My driver will pick the car by evening."

"That's a nice idea!" I walked over and sat on the driver's car.

I started the engine and car took speed. A hindi song playing on the music system.

Gaata rahe mera dil,
Tuhi meri manzil,

(My heart keeps singing,
that you are my destination)

Kahin beete na yeh raaten
Kahin beete na yeh din.

(May these nights never end,
May these days never end.... )

"If you know, how to drive then why didn't you went by yourselves?" He asked out of the blue.

I answered, "Mumma called your mom. She isn't aware that I know driving. I learnt it in Delhi."

"Oh!" He exclaimed and sat silently.

There was again a silence around us but a comfortable one.

After a minute or two, he said, "Shraddha?"

"Hmm."

"Give me your phone." He said. I grabbed my bag from my lap and gave it to him.

He once looked at me then at the bag now in his hand. After contemplating for a second, he took out the phone.

He switched it on then stretched it towards me, "Password?"

"I just hate maths. With all caps and no space." I said.

He chuckled upon hearing my unique choice for password and entered it.

After a minute his phone rang and he declined it. I glanced over there and realized that he saved his number in my phone.

He gave my phone back to me.

None of us spoke a word in whole ride. Perhaps there was nothing in our hearts to say or we did not had words to say what was in our hearts.
