Chapter 4

Lareinas pov

Today was a boring day, I paid my bills then nothing for the rest of the day.

I walked into my room my bed was against the window I sat down grabbing a book I was reading "They Both Die in the End" It was a book that brought me tears.

About an hour later, I got up and checked my phone, I had forgotten it had been on Do Not Disturb.

"Hey I'm sorry Harp" I text the group chat.

"Girl where have you been, we're all going out tonight!." harper says. I've known Harper since we were kids she was so sweet.

"Where are we going, and who?"

"Me, you, Noah we wanna go to the bar up the street from me."

"Hey bitches" Noah said joining the chat.

"What time do I need to be ready?" I reply sighing.

I put my phone down getting in the shower.

I rush to get ready putting on my makeup and some black jeans with a tight lace black top.

I drive over to Harper's house and we meet Noah at the bar. We walked in, and there were just a lot of old guys playing pool, Ugh.

"Hey, Noah!" Harper said hugging him. I give him a head nod.

we all order drinks and sit at the side tables. They sat and talked as I rolled my eyes at Noah.

"Oh, I invited some of my friends," Noah says with a smirk.

"Why the fuck didn't you ask." I blurt out.

"Harper said it was fine?"

"Whatever just leave me out of-" I get cut off by 3 people walking in one girl and 2 men...

"No...NO" I stand up grabbing my bag my ex-husband was one of the men that walked in.

"Henry!" Noah says getting up and kissing him.

Why did he kiss him? Henry is straight my head feels like it is spinning I was so in shock... I walk up to Noah and Henry and slap them.

"Fuck you," I say walking out of the bar I only had to 2 drinks but it felt like 8.

I sat down under a tree outside the bar. My cheeks started to feel wetness hit them, and my phone started going off it was my assistant she needed me to come in and do a show.

I called my driver and he took me in I was pissed and my head hurt.

"What is so important you can't work this out yourselves," I yell

"The models for the show Monday we only have 2"

"Call Miss Dawn she'll do it"

I go to my office and sit there I sigh dropping my head to my hands.

I came out of my office when I calmed down a little.

"Did you call her?" I say sighing

"Yeah, she said she was on her way"

"Good get the outfits ready and let the girls know they will be getting paid more since the others canceled."

The model got here she looked tired today but it couldn't be my main focus.

As the show started I kept an eye in the back making sure everything went smoothly.

The two models were signing out but she stayed back she came up to me.

"Miss Madeline?" she whispers.

"Hm? Yes, Eloise."

"Are you alright? you have been off all day."

"Yes just a long day, you should be getting home."

"I hope your day gets better Lareina." she smiles How could someone who doesn't even know me make me feel like this?

"Thank you, dear. I pat her head and her arms wrap around me hugging me, I hug her back for a second.

"Thank you now get going, aright?"

"Yes, Lareina text me if you need anything?"

When I got home it was late. I went straight to my bed not even changing or anything i was checking my phone and updates to see what people posted of the show. Harper and Noah had blown up my phone asking what happened i left the on open and went to sleep.

Eloise pov

I was getting ready to go to the studio today but when I was about to step out my door there were flashes everywhere and people screaming my name the paparazzi had found my house.

I slammed the front door trying to call my bodyguards to come get me but I had no answer.

I called Lareina hoping she would pick up.

"Hello? Eloise why are you calling me so early." it sounds like I woke her up

"I'm sorry to wake you up but is it possible for you to drive to my house and take me to the studio, the paparazzi found my house and there are so many people I can't get out" I beg her.

"I'll pick you up go out the back I'll be there soon."

We hang up and I wait in the back for her car. When her car pulls up I rush in it hoping nobody saw.

"Thank you sorry for waking you, my bodyguards didn't answer."

On the way to the studio her hands were in mine i kept my eyes on the window.

"Thank you, ma'am"

"Where's my tip, Hm?" she laughs, I kiss her cheek and wink

"Bye Miss Madeline" I  yell running  into the studio I can't believe I just did that oh my gosh.

The whole rest of the day I couldn't stop smiling and thinking about it, to her it was just a simple kiss on the cheek but to me, it was like heaven.
