Manhattan SVU 16th Precinct

Cragen walks out of his office hoping to catch any of his detectives that are still in the precinct. He spots Olivia picking up her jacket looking like she's about to leave.
"Liv I need you to go to 40-48 69th Street we've got a body" Cragen says as he approaches Olivia.
"40-48 why do I know that address?" Liv questions looking at her captain.
"It's sergeant Lewis' Townhouse" Cragen responds quickly.
"If it's a body why aren't homicide on the scene?" Liv asks just as she's getting ready to leave.
"The body is Lewis' wife, Lewis just got the call and will meet you at the scene, I want kept in the loop with this one Andrew's a close friend" Cragen says greyly.
Liv quickly leaves the building and calls Elliot filling him in, he tells her he'll meet her at Sergeant Lewis' house.

Residence of Sergeant Andrew Lewis
40-48 69th Street
Manhattan, NY

Liv and Elliot walk through the door of the townhouse and into the living room to find Sergeant Andrew Lewis of the NYPD Homicide department sitting on his couch with his head in his hands. CSU are already on the scene swabbing everything and taking pictures of all the evidence. As Liv walks into the living room she spots a photo of Andrew with a younger girl blonde hair and blue eyes, she looks like Andrew with a hint of her mother Helen.
"El" Liv quietly says as she points at the photo.
Elliot looks and he and Liv share a glance before walking to sit with Andrew.
"Andrew are you okay?" Liv asks as she sits down.
"You know I've worked with the NYPD for nearly 30 years and never did I think that I'd be getting a call to tell me that my wife's body has been found." Andrew answered still staring at his feet.
"Andrew, where's your daughter? Was she in the house?" Elliot asks.
"Janie? No it's a Saturday she's at her friend's house, they alternate each week, this week it's Ally's week." Andrew answered quickly.
"I don't usually work Saturday's but we had so much backlog of paperwork in the precinct I told Helen I'd take a few hours then we'd go for dinner!" He added.
"Do you have any idea who could've done this? Anyone who had a grudge against you anything?" Elliot asks
"I'm a homicide detective the families of pretty much every criminal I lock up holds a grudge" He responds
"I need to go get Janie, she could be next" He answers quickly getting up.
Liv stands up and quickly grabs his shoulders, "Andrew, no you stay here, I'll go get her okay, stay here while CSU clean up and El will ask you more questions okay, now what's Ally's address"
Andrew gives Olivia the address and she heads out to get Janie his only child.

Olivia knocks the door and Ally answers.
"Hi, I'm detective Olivia Benson, I'm looking for Janie Lewis? Her dad said she was staying here tonight?"
"Hi, yeah I'll go get her!" Ally walks away and comes back with Janie who looks confused.
"Hi Janie, I'm going to need you to come with me, I'm a friend of your dad's!" Liv responds
"What's going on?" Janie asks
"Why don't you let us explain when we take you home okay?" Liv responds
"Okay, let me just grab my stuff okay" she says knowingly that something must be wrong if her dad couldn't come get her himself.
