I feel the spring air on my neck as I walk into the building. This is the place I could now call home for the next year. I walked up the stairs and into classroom 1-A. I was pretty early, so there were only a few unfamiliar faces in the room. There was a boy with fluffy green hair and freckles, a girl with thick brown hair and pink cheeks, and another boy who had dark blue hair and glasses. I just looked at them all for a moment. These were going to be some of my classmates for the next 3 years. The boy with glasses then approached me. He immediately started talking to me, how social.
"Hello, fellow classmate! May I please have your phone number? I would like to get everyone's numbers in case of emergencies!"
He was peppy and energetic, but also very formal. I suppose I don't know how I feel about him. I thought about it for a moment and then reluctantly gave him my name and number. I didn't even ask for his name, nor did he tell me what it was. So then when he texted, "Hello!" So I could save his contact, I just saved it as "Nerd From Class".
More people slowly started to pour into the room as the start time for class drew closer. By the time the bell rang, there was only one vacant seat. Our new teacher then walked into the room. He was a relatively tall man with long black hair. As he was about to begin speaking, the last student arrived late. He was an angry looking kid with blonde spiky hair and red eyes. He walked over and slumped into the last vacant desk. The teacher then began class with basic introductions to the hero course.
I loved everything about this school already. Everyone seemed so nice, and the teacher seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I was just ready to start training.
It seemed like a few students had already met before and must have gone to middle school together. This also included that blonde haired guy. I soon learned that his name was Katsuki Bakugo. From the second I saw him, I found him cute. He had this charm to him that I couldn't describe. However, he just looked so intimidating, so I decided not to talk to him or ask for his phone number. Instead, I figured I'd text that kid with the glasses for it since I believe he was able to get Bakugo's number from what I witnessed. So later that day, after I had finished setting up everything in my dorm, I sent "Nerd From Class" a text. I did actually end up learning his name after introductions in class, but I couldn't be bothered to change his contact information. We also voted him as our class representative earlier that day.
Me: "Hey, this is Tenya Iida, right?"
He replied almost instantly-
Tenya: "Yes, this is your class rep, Tenya Iida! How can I assist you, my dear classmate?"
Me: "Um so like u have everyone's phone #s right?"
Tenya: "Yes of course I do! It's part of my responsibilities as your class representative!"
Oh yep, the formal part of him is really coming through. Why on earth does he text with perfect grammar? Like what the hell- I type back a reply but I'm a little more nervous this time.
Me: "So I was just wondering if u could send me bakugos #"
Tenya: "May I ask the purpose of you r4equesting for Bakugo's phone number?"
Of course he wouldn't give it to me willingly, what was I even thinking? I reluctantly decided to tell him why.
Me: "Cuz I like wanted to text him smth but I like didn't wanna ask him for his # directly so could u send it"
Tenya: "I'm afraid no can do without his permission! Shall I ask him for you if it is alright that you have his phone number?"
I just let out a heavy sigh, this wasn't even worth it.
