"Nothing " we both said at the same time and the looked at eachother and back at ddot and he just furrowed his eye brows and left

After dinner I told my mom I would clean up and dd said he was gonna help so I just let him.
"So how's you and your girlfriend" I asked while washing dishes
He snickered "she's not my girlfriend, she just tells everyone that " he told me and I didn't know if I could believe him or not
"You don't have to lie, I promise I don't care if you moved on" I said moving on to the next dish while he dried them and put them away
He came up behind me "I promise you I'm not everyone just jokes around like that because they know it bothers me" he said and turning me to face him
I just looked at him and he kept inching closer till our lips met
For about 2 minutes we were kissing then I pushed him away
"DD we can't I don't know if you have a girlfriend or not I'm sorry" I said backing up
"I already told you " he said with a confused face
"I don't know we can't we both need move on if it's actually love we will find each other again" I told him walking to my room and I heard him go to the front door and slam it leaving .
I didn't want to stop but I can't trust him and if we are meant we will met again.
