Chapter 21~Trying

Jungkook pov*
Waking up i see a beautiful face sleeping peacefully next to me remembering the day we had yesterday. We found out the gender of our baby is a boy and i was so happy and still am excited. A mini little me running around from the one girl i can only imagine seeing myself with no matter how anything goes. I do feel like i have to do better when it comes to her and our son and being there. It's just hard when you have to also balance ruling the mafia world in Italy and keep your only weakness hidden which is your family to keep them safe. The way my heart beats when i can finally come to what feels like home after days of hard working and missing the one girl who always made me feel loved and wanted. She deserves the whole world i would kill anyone who dares to even think about hurting her. Getting up making sure not to wake her i go into the baby room i noticed she hasn't fixed up and decide to do it for her as i already don't want her to lift a finger until she has given birth to our son. Soon after i leave going shopping for some clothes to keep at her house for me and anything i want for my son to have.

y/n pov*

I get up stretching feeling the spot in bed next to me empty showing that jungkook has left. Sighing i get up getting ready for the day going downstairs to cook some breakfast. Hearing the front door open i see jungkook walking in with all these bags surprised me that he came back after leaving. He closes the door using his foot before dropping down the bags on the couch making his way over to me.

Jungkook:Sit principessa i'll cook

He says as he tries to take the spoon away from me.

Y/n:I got it

Huffing as he walks away showing him annoyed from me being stubborn i giggle at it. I finish cooking as i see him grab the last bit of bags he takes upstairs before making plates and following upstairs curious on what he's doing. I walk into the open room next to mines and peek inside seeing the baby room fully completed and filled up with baby clothes, toys and more.

Y/n:Oh my gosh

Jungkook who was turned around not noticing me at first heading spins facing me after hearing my voice. The baby room was so beautiful even the crib was built and the dressers.

Jungkook:How it look?

Y/n:I love ittt

Taking in the room i step in getting closer look at everything. He made it look better than i would've done. I come to a stop infront of jungkook before embracing him into a hug that he immediately returns making me feel safe in his hold.

Y/n:Thank you

Jungkook:No need your right principessa i'm sorry for not being here like i'm supposed to be

Hearing that made me tear up a little but i quickly wipe them away letting him know food was done. We walk out turning the light off closing the door before going to eat breakfast. Afterwards jungkook beats me to cleaning as he starts washing the dishes. I was gonna start helping him but he stops me.

Jungkook:Go get dressed i'm taking you out

Y/n:To where

Jungkook:You'll see go get ready

Listening to him i got upstairs starting the shower getting ready for the day. Getting out wrapping myself with a towel i see jungkook coming in getting ready to get in the shower himself.

Jungkook:I got you a gift it's in the room

Going to my bedroom i see a long brown dress laid out on the bed. Putting it on matching with some brown sandals i look in the mirror seeing in the reflection jungkook walking up behind me matching me with brown sneakers,black pants and shirt with a brown jacket on. His scent is all i can smell when he wraps his arms around me leaving kisses on my neck before intertwining his hands holding mines.

Jungkook:You look so good principessa

He whispers into my ear leaving chills down my body as i listen to every word he says with his thick accent making it so much better.

Y/n:thank you jungkook you look amazing too

Jungkook:You ready to go?

I nod my head as he leads me through the house to outside getting into his car not forgetting to open the passenger door for me. I watch as we ride past buildings trying to get a hint of where we are headed bc until we stop infront of a fancy restaurant. Getting out i follow behind jungkook inside holding onto his arm. Soon enough we were guided to a private area which was more quiet just to see my mother and Quince. I come to a halt from feeling shocked by all of us being together in one place.

Y/n:Jungkook did you invite them

Jungkook:Yes i think it's about time i met your mom

Swallowing the nervousness that i'm feeling we sit down at the table. Greeting my mom and her boyfriend i introduce jungkook. The whole dinner wasn't as awkward as i thought it would be as my mom was happy to finally meet jungkook.I mean my mom has obviously asked who i was pregnant by and when she came to hear about it being her bosses son and used to be next door neighbor she was shocked but of course supportive. I'm guessing this whole dinner was planned out by jungkook and Quince as they do work together and seemed more conversational with each other. Soon enough it comes to an end as we walk outside to feel like wind blowing on my face. Looking over i see jungkook and quince finishing up talking about there business development and decisions they are going to make.

Mom:Dear

I face my mom who has a smile on her face.

Y/n:What are u grinning about

I say giggling at how happy she looks and i love it for her she deserves it and so much more.

Mom:I'm just so proud of you sweetie

Those words make my heart melt

Y/n:thank you mom

Mom:I can't wait to finally meet the baby i already can tell your child is going to be the cutest you chose the right guy

I blush at her comment about jungkook

Mom:Hold onto him

Y/n: I try

I whisper to myself as the boys walk over to us and i hug my mom while saying our goodbyes before parting ways.
