Chapter 2

CELESTE

I was busy on my computer as I try to solve the problems of the company. Everything was fine tomorrow not u til this morning. Everything that happened made Cedrick angry and now, he's even more angry that the Shareholders are going haywire about a very tiny problem. Dating in the Company.

Why would they fight over about that problem instead of solving this huge problem. I swear Mr. Napoleon is really mad inside of the meeting room. I can hear the table being slammed and loud voices of him from the inside.

"There, yes! " I said happily as I made everything smooth again. The sales went up, twice as before and I'm sure this would calm Mr. Napoleon down.

I really hope.

I carried my laptop to the meeting room and give the report to Mr. Napoleon. As expected he became more calm than before. It's nice to him calm than seeing him in his tiger-like attitude all the time, but I don't care, I used to him being like that.

I started working at his company when 1 was 20 and now I'm 25 Years old. I'm working for him for 5 years now. And I'm really used of his attitude.

After I gave him the report, he then ordered me to fire those couple who dated here secretly. They are Marian and Vince. I tried to want them but they didn't listen and now, I have to fire them my self.

I made my way to their table and told them what the boss asked me to do. I was heartbroken seeing them pack their things and leave before the boss even noticed. This is the only problem I had for him. He doesn't give second chances. What done, is done. Yeah right, he's the boos after all.

I returned to my table in front of the boss's office when a familiar women stood in front of yeah. So much for bad luck. It's Athena. The girl my boss hated the most.

"Celeste, let me come in, I'll wait for him inside. I know he had a terrible day and I'm here to please him. " she said and I'm irritated but I still keep the smile on my face. A fake one. I then opened the door for her and lead her inside.

I was I was about to excuse myself to leave because I'm exhausted typing at the computer. I heard the door open behind me. It was Mr. Napoleon.

Athena then hurried to hug her and the boss signaled me to leave for a moment. Finally I can rest because I really need to take a nap. The room was sound proof and everything can't be heard from outside so I didn't I don't care what they're doing. I'm just an assistant, why would I acre about them.

I lay my head on the pillow I have and rested it on the table. I want to rest because of so much work that my finger did today and I'm also a bit tired because I woke up 3 am earlier because of what happened.

"Please, just me rest" I said as I close my eyes. Not long that I closed my eyes I then heard a loud bang at the door and saw Athena storming off, she didn't even bother to look at me. The door slammed but I'd didn't really close.

"Celeste! " he shouted. It's soundproof alright, but the door isn't close. He probably notice that and didn't just to use the beeper.

Shouting my name is a cue for me to go inside. I knock on the door two times and I let myself in.

"Sir, do you need anything? Do you want a coffee or tea? " I asked calmly and politely because I know how mad he is right, and I'm afraid to make it worse.

"A tea will do, Celeste. " he said and it was my Cue to make him one. I then went to the table where his coffee and tea were placed and hurried to make one for him.

"Here you go-ohh! " I tripped on the steps trying to make my work perfect but damn it. The tea was all over his body and our face were really close. I could feel his warm breath and his gaze were all over me. He was just looking at me. Our eyes locked at each other and I could see his dark eyes filled with different emotions. I broke the stare and fix my self.

"Oh. O my god, I'm so sorry sir, I'm so clumsy, shit. Let me get you a shirt sir, a-and a p-pants. " I said full of embarrassment. Stupid Celeste now who have totally ruined his day. Can this be more terrible? Shit.

I hurried to the cabinet and took his Texudo and give it to him. The moment I tuned to face him, I saw him shirtless. And shit those abs were amazing. I wonder how good it would be to touch them. They're are like breakfast to my mouth. Shit get a grip Celeste. I then turned my back on him and I swear, I could feel heat on my cheeks. They're freaking red. I just hope he didn't see them because that would be embarrassing.

I could hear his footsteps coming towards me and his scent became stronger and stronger as he became closer. Damn it Celeste, you just ended your work. I'm embracing myself to hear the word "You're fired" from him.

"My clothes? " what? He's not mad? But his tone was cold. I gave him his Texudo and didn't even bother to look because I swear, I might explode if I do.

"I'm going to change my pants. Do you wanna look? " he asked behind me. Shit you should've left after you gave his clothes. Aren't you stupid Celeste?

"O-of course not, sir. I must l-leave. Call me if you n-need a-anything. " with that I stormed out of the room. I could feel his gaze followed me but I don't care. I just need to leave this room and have some fresh air. Dang it, Celeste.

I calmed myself down as I reach my desk. Why now of all days? But I just can't get enough of his abs. It must be so hard and delicio- cut it Celeste. Shit, why am I being like this. This can't be, arrgggh. He's your boss, so stop it. Behave yourself Celeste.

I make myself busy by cleaning and arranging my table. I put it to their places accordingly so that it would be easy for me to find what I'm looking for.
While I was about to clean my drawers, I heard the beeper and I instantly answered it.

"Get in. " the only words I heard and I didn't hesitate to enter his office. He was sitting in his sofa and signaled me to sit on front of him. Is he firing me this time? What have you done, Celeste.

"Do you need anything, sir? " I asked hoping not to receive any yell from him.

"Get ready yourself for tomorrow and pack for 1 week. You're coming with me to Paris for a business meeting. " he said, what!? Paris!? I thought he's going to fire me, but no? He's actually taking me to my dream country? My changed its expression from terrified to a happy maiden. Is he seryious?

"Me sir? T-to Paris? " I ask just to make sure I heard that right.

"I don't like to repeat myself, Celeste. " he said coldly and he immediately went to his desk to pick up his coat. "I'm going home early and I think you should too because you still need to pack and get ready. " he said and then left the room, but I'm still stunned of what I heard. He's not joking at all. I'm lucky, aren't I?

I excitedly exited the room and get my things and then left the company. I'm excited and flatered at the same time.

I'm coming Paris.
