One day, while walking across campus, jake stumbled upon a group of rowdy students teasing a freshman. Without hesitation, jake stepped in to defend the younger student, his protective instincts kicking in. Just as the situation was about to escalate, heeseung appeared out of nowhere, his eyes blazing with a fierce intensity.

"Leave him alone," heeseung growled, his voice low and menacing. The group backed off, intimidated by heeseung's towering presence. But what caught jake off guard was the way heeseung gently grasped his arm, pulling him close as if to shield him from harm.

"You shouldn't have done that, jaeyunie," heeseung whispered, his breath warm against jake's ear. "You're not supposed to put yourself in danger. That's my job."

Jake's heart skipped a beat as he felt heeseung's possessive gaze wash over him. No one had ever looked at him like that before - as if he was precious, cherished, and utterly protected. Jake's fluttering heart betrayed his calm exterior, and he couldn't help but wonder if heeseung felt more than friendship for him.

As they walked away from the scene, heeseung's grip on Jake's arm remained firm, his fingers wrapping possessively around jake's wrist. Jake felt a shiver run down his spine, his senses heightened by heeseung's touch.

"You're mine to protect, jaeyunie," heeseung whispered, his voice husky with emotion. "I won't let anyone hurt you."

And if we say jake felt butterflies dancing in his stomach,then no it was literally whole zoo, dancing in his stomach.... but oh boy we're talking about our cute little dense puppy who still didn't catch on...... but at that moment jake's heart raced as he met heeseung's gaze, searching for answers. Was this just friendship, or was heeseung feeling something more? The intensity in heeseung's eyes made jake's breath catch.

At that moment, jungwon, sunoo, Sunghoon, jay and the maknae ni-ki caught up to them, concerned expressions on their faces. "Hey, what happened hyung?" Jungwon asked, eyeing the scene behind them. But heeseung just shook his head, his eyes never leaving jake's face.

"Nothing, let's just get out of here."

As they walked away, jake felt heeseung's hand slide down to his, their fingers intertwining in a gentle, yet possessive grasp. Jake's heart fluttered wildly, unsure what to make of this new development, but unable to deny the sparks flying between them.

The group continued on, their usual banter and laughter filling the air, but jake's mind was elsewhere. He couldn't shake off the feeling that heeseung's protectiveness was more than just friendship.

As they reached their favorite café, heeseung pulled jake aside, his eyes burning with an inner fire. "Listen, my dear jaeyunie, I know you think you can handle everything on your own, but you can't. You're too precious to me, to all of us. Let us protect you, let us take care of you."

Jake's heart skipped a beat as he met heeseung's gaze. No one had ever spoken to him like that before, with such passion and conviction. He felt his defenses crumbling, his heart opening up to the possibility that heeseung might feel more than friendship for him.

"I...I don't know what to say," jake stammered, his voice barely above a whisper.

Jake's face softened, his eyes filled with a deep affection. "You don't have to say anything, jaeyunie. Just know that I'm here for you, always. And I'll do everything in my power to keep you safe."

As they rejoined their friends, jake couldn't help but wonder what the future held for them. Was this the start of something new, something beautiful?
