Chapter 3: Getting Rid of an Ally

I currently at my desk in the company and I'm still waiting for Mr. Clarion to arrive so that I can introduce myself. I can't wait to see him again. I'm in rage everytime I hear their fucking names but hearing them  suffer is a music to much ear.

A minute later I can hear footsteps coming and I instantly fix myself and saw him. Zedrick Clarion. He stopped with question in his eyes together with his wife.

"Who are you? " Athena ask with disgust on her face. I can see it clearly.

"I'm Nathalia, ma'am. Mr. Clarion's new Assistant. " a surprise look in her is what what I wanted to see.

"I told you to hire a guy, Clarion, not a woman. "
"I know, but her Resume is very fit to be an assistant. We need someone who is capable. And another thing. There is no " guy" who applied yesterday, and you know we can't wait any longer " He explained but before she agreed, she looked at me up and dawn as if I was a whore or something.

"Fine." She said and went back to wherever she's going while Mr. Clarion signaled me to follow him inside. Perfect.

Now that I'm inside the company, it would be easy for me to move. And my next target is Jacob. He's a trusted employee of Athena and Clarion for so many years. He's also involved in a lot of gambling but he never got rich. One of my friends who's also a friend of Athena and Clarion , well not really since he's just doing that to get some information and he did. He sent me a file and it contains a video of Jacob where he's using the money of the company to his debts in gambling. I wonder how will Clarion handle him.

"Nathalia, right?  I'm very impressed about you biodata and hired you instantly" he said trying to get close to me. Every step that he makes are the same as I step backward. I must act vulnerable in front him.

"W-working ha-hard, sir? " I act stuttering.

"No, darling. The answer is... " he paused and then grab me by my waist. A gave a very small smirk. It's working according to plan. "Sleep with me. " he said kissing my neck. His warm breath touches my neck and it give me an instant shivers. It's felt so good and a moan escape my throat. Shit! Not  this can't be. I need to focus.

I pushed him and acted flirty, just to keep that close gap between us. "Wouldn't your wife gets mad if she finds out that her husband is trying to have s*x with his Assistant? Calm yourself , sir. Let's do this next time, but right now we just can't because there are a lot of employees out there. " I explained holding his neck tie. He just nodded and signaled me to fix myself and leave his office. I swear, I just caught a big fish.

It's lunch time and I know exactly what to do you. The cafeteria of the the company had a big screen TV do that the employee can watch news while they're eating, and it's a perfect fit for my video.

I inserted the USB on the laptop of the system handler and went to the Cafeteria and turn it on in my phone. The shock in everyone's faces when they saw the video is worth filming, but I can't. I look at Jacob who is watching from his table and he instantly went red, waiting to explode.

"Turn it off! Hey! W-what are you doing?! Stop watching it. Heyyy! Stop filming. Do you it's a joke, huh!? " I'm enjoying the show too much. That I just myself smiling but it was seen by Jacob. He then pointed his finger at me and run.

"You! Why are you smiling, huh!? Did you do this?! Tell me! " he said shaking my body. Shit why did I even smile. But thankfully I have a plan.

"Who even are you?! Why would I do that?! I just started my job and you accused me already!?" I cried and ran towards the bathroom. I saw the live that my co-workers uploaded and they were accusing him of a fraud. And they're also telling him that his so cruel to make a new employee cry. I'm so happy inside of me.

Suddenly a not so familiar voice was heard behind me. It was a guy. He's good looking and had a lot of Charisma. A handsome man, as we speak.

"Who are you? " I asked nervously
"Someone you know, Agatha. " Surprised. He knows me? And I know him too?! How!?
"Be thankful that I have the clip of the CCTV and got rid of all the evidence they might get. Or else, Clarion will know your plan. And I'm Aaron. We met before when you help get my bag back at the supermarket. Since then on, I knew so much about you. I made some research that only a genius can get. You're so good at hiding. " he explained. I'm still shocked from I was hearing. He knows a lot about me?

"So it's was you, huh? You're creepy, you know? " saying and getting the USB he handed me. Suddenly I heard a lot of footsteps. It's girls and he's in hear.

"Hide" he then enter to one of the toilet in the bathroom, while I continue my fake crying. I smudge my masskara and  and made my eyes look red from crying.

"Oh, you're the girl who was accused by Jacob, right? " that one girl ask and I just nodded. " oh my god, we're so sorry for you girl. You got accused when you don't even know who he is. He's such a jerk. You should've punch him in the face after what he did to you. " she said excitedly and I just smiled at her.

"Oh, BTW I'm lucey, manager of the marketing department, and you? " she asked kindly.
"I'm Nathalia, Assistant of Mr. Clarion" I said and they were shock. Are they for real?

"Really?! Oh you must be lucky to be able to get close to him. He's a dream" she said and imagining something in her head.
"Shut up, Lucey. Stop day dreaming. He's married and Ms. Athena is very strict. You don't want to get on her way, or you're done. " she's quite right, to be exact. My mom died because she couldn't get what she wanted that's why she killed her and when dad died, all his will was named for me that's why she also tried to kill me just to get what she Wanted. That's how scary she is before, but now. She's just a bug to me. A bug that keeps bugging some else's life just so she can get what she wants. Pathetic.

"I'm not into Mr. Clarion guys, but he's really nice. I'm doing my best just to keep this position because I still need money to live. " I said while fixing my make up. This acting is very tiring and I need to stop this.

I finished my make but the two girl left me first. And that's the cue for Aaron to leave the toilet too and go out. I fixed myself and went to my dest. As I was heading there, I saw Jacob carrying his things, crying. Mission success. I give a small smirk and it was satisfying.
