Little Lawrence ~Eli/ Hawk Moskowitz

a few days later, miyagi-do had reopened and i was training with demetri, bella, eli and miguel. robby walks in and demetri says "something tells me it's about to be the fourth of july." "i can't believe that piece of shit's on our team" eli said. "hey" i said and he looked down at me. "alright, relax. okay? he wants exactly what we want. gonna be okay." miguel said.

chozen whistles then tells us to line up. he told us that we're training with him. he told us all to  take an egg and protect it. we all ran of, going to hide.

he found my egg so i went and stood with robby and everyone else who got caught. eli comes over to us. "how'd he take you out?" robby asks him. "shut up. don't talk to me" eli said and i look down. "if this is a bout the mohawk, i'm sorry. but if anybody knows how cobra kai can turn you into an asshole, it's you." robby says. "oh so i'm an asshole?" eli said, turning to him. i grab eli's hand to stop him from getting annoyed. "yeah, we'll let's see. uh, you attacked me and sam at the mall. you broke demetri's arm. you trashed this entire dojo." robby said. "oh just stop!" i yell and demetri says "you're both ex-assholes now. great. can we focus on the issue at hand? there is a madman out there using weapons on us." "sorry baby" eli says, kissing my temple.

chozen had caught all of us so he told us to do it again and anthony suggested that we all work together. "so, we're sure we want to put all our eggs in one basket? you're specifically not supposed to do that." demetri said, while we were all standing in a circle around our eggs. "this is gonna work" anthony said.

a few days later, we were being reviewed to see if we could compete in the sekai taikai. we had to fight against cobra kai to see who gets the place. my dad, daniel and chozen chose me to fight against tory and eli to fight kenny.

i had to train extra hard. eli and kenny were fighting first. kenny got him with an illegal strike and only got a warning. then kenny winded all the air out of him, making eli unable to breathe. the ref made kenny the winner.

"looks like you got a new name. faux- hawk." kenny said making me roll my eyes. "i hate that prepubescent little cunt." i said to bella, a little too loudly.

next, i was fighting tory but she didn't show up. i had to fight devon. i got her shoulder but didn't get a point, somehow she got a point when there was no contact. i went to my dad, chozen and daniel. "i blocked that. and i swear i just got her below the shoulder." i say. "alright. look. not every point is gonna go our way." daniel said. "those calls put me down a point. i should be up one! if u lose the match because of it-" i say "milly" eli says. "you're the better fighter" he continues. "everyone knows it. the ref might not be doing you any favours, but you've got us in your corner. all of us." miguel added. "referee is moron. must not leave room for error" chozen says. "yes. you make every point undeniable." my dad says.

i go back onto the mat and begin fighting again. i got a point. now it's 1-1. i got another point and then i won the match.

i went and hugged my dad. "i'm so proud of you" he said to me, making me smile. the judges were talking then they stood up.

"we reached an agreement. as expected, we were impressed with the skills, precision and discipline of the new sekai taikai qualifier... cobra kai. as for our other dojo, we admired your unusual mix of styles and underdog spirit... and we think you could be a unique addition to the competition. therefore, we've decided that your dojo has also qualified." one of the judges said, making us all cheer.

"maybe one day we'll both win" eli says, making me hug him. "we've all earned this. each and every one of you brought your a-game." daniel said. "could not be more proud." chozen said. "with this tournament in our future, we're got a lot of work to do but tonight. tonight. go celebrate!" daniel said making everyone cheer. "hey listen, i told your mom i'd take her and rosa to a dinner and movie so you guys are on your own if you wanna hose that celebration." my dad says to me, robby and miguel.

we have a massive party at our apartment. tory and sam have another fight aswell, then tory leaves. she only came to tell sam that silver was cheating.

the next day, at training, i was with bella, demetri, sam, eli, bert and miguel. "wait. okay, to sensei targaryen paid off the ref at the all valley and framed kreese for a crime he didn't commit? never let me miss a house party again." demetri said. "we need to tell the sensei's." miguel said. "what are they gonna do?" i ask "yeah, we all saw that happened when my dad confronted silver. i don't want him getting hurt again" sam added. "besides, if this ref and stingray are on silvers payroll, they'll never admit anything." demetri said. "i'm not so sure about that. i know he's in cobra kai and i'm in eagle fang, but stingray's still my friend. he wouldn't like to me. at least i hope he wouldn't." bert said. "do think you can get him to talk?" bella asks and bert nods. "find out where he lives" i say. "let's go" eli says and we all leave walk off.

"miyagi fangs? oh this is a trap. oh you admiral ackbar-ed me. et tu, bert-tay?" stingray says ti bert. "knock it off. we know kreese never hurt you. eli says. "according to my testimony in a court of law, he did. so... read the transcript." stingray says, going to shut the door, but i stop him. "you lied to the court, you lied to me larusso. but you're not going to lie to us." i say, walking in to his house. "you're just gonna let her- now you all walking in." stingray says and everyone walks in behind me.

"what happened that night. who hurt you?" demetri asks. hey bert, how does it feel?" stingray says. "look. look at me. look at me" demetri says. "to stab a grown man in the back between his shoulder blades? and stare at the blood as it trickles down his back?" stingray says. "god, enough! no more games" eli says. "my dad went through a lot of pain because of you and silver. now a lot of other people will too if you just sit back and do nothing." sam says. "but if i tell you what really happened, you know, he-he'll find out. i can't. it's not that easy, you guys. actually, there... um, wait. okay, so i've been working in this new s&p campaign." stingray says. "i don't think we have time for this." miguel says. "wait a minute. what happens in the campaign, stingray?" eli asks. "okay, so, once upon a time, there was a dwarven monk, and he was a member of the most badass guild in all the land. uh, he was banished for a time. you know, typical pc crap. but, um, once he paid his penance, he returned. only by then, the guild was under new leadership. and the monk was denied reentry into the guild. and quite unceremoniously, might i add. so what did the monk do? the monk, he made a pact with a silver haired king, who would usurp the leader. and it was early one morning, before any of the warriors had arrived, that the king struck the monk down. again, and again, and again. it was then that they framed the leader for the assault, and the leader was put in chains, and the silver- haired king took over the guild." stingray said. "and you, the dwarven monk was let back into the guild?" demetri said. "yeah. with benefits." eli added. "aye. with benefits, yeah." stingray said. "so why can't he just tell everyone what really happened?" miguel asks. "because he doesn't want to lose his benefits." bella says. "no! no. i would... the monk would give it all back if he could, but the silver haired king you know, he... he almost killed the monk. he could have killed him. and why? to get power. so, yeah, the monk fears what that kink would do to keep that power. i think the monk just... the monk just wanted reentry into the guild because he thought that he could be like a. like a proud and noble warrior. just like you, hawk, amelia, samantha, all you guys. but he's neither proud nor noble. definitely not a warrior. he just sits around playing with them all day. the monk's just scared. i just can't. i'm sorry." stingray says. "that's great. thanks for nothing." sam says, walking out and we all follow her.
