he doesn't usually care when donghyuck sits on someone elses lap or if asks someone else to carry him like a baby that he is. he's just jealous because jaehyun always picks donghyuck's attention. and he thinks the younger doesn't want to sit on his lap anymore like he used to do.
"hyung," there it is. mark's baby. "you know, i want to eat in this restaurant that gives free kimchichigae. do you wanna come with me—"
"where is it?" jaehyun suddenly appeared, then he wraps an arm around donghyuck.
"just around the corner. there's a new store there."
mark rolled his eyes at them but surely, they didn't see it. he continued to hum with his guitar and didn't even mind them. he hoped they would come out of his room already or he'll pull donghyuck from jaehyun and keep him in his pocket.
"mark already ate dinner. i'll come with you instead." jaehyun uttered innocently, as if he didn't do that to make the other one jealous.
"but… maku hyung."
there he is again. calling him names that was definitely not his, but mark loved it anyway. he loves it more than anyone.
"oh come on, donghyuck—"
"aw, fine, fine. bye melt!"
they left with jaehyun's arms around donghyuck and donghyuck's on the older's waist.
for the nth time, mark rolls his eyes in agony. he isn't like this before when donghyuck was clingy with taeil and taeyong. he's just like this because he knows donghyuck used to have a crush on jaehyun.
"ugh! what the hell?" he yelled at himself. "why am i feeling like this?"
it started right after favorite's release. they had been going out than usual and mark is already thinking of the possibility of them dating.
"hell…" mark diverted his attention to his computer. but then he remembered his wallpaper is donghyuck's baby picture.
"fuck," he groans. "i forgot i didn't change it yet."
donghyuck knew it and he loved the idea of mark staring at his baby picture, so he let him be. as for mark, he didn't know how computer work so accidentally he changed the wallpaper into donghyuck's face, but let's hide the fact that he was indeed searching for more donghyuck's baby picture back then.
in the end, he let it be. he dropped on his bed and picked up his phone. there was an album where all of their pictures and donghyuck's alone are stored. he scrolled through them and missed the times that donghyuck's focus was just on him and no one else.
there were a lot of candid photos of donghyuck on his phone, he had to admit he loved staring at donghyuck so much. it was his sort-of happy pill in order to cross the day without being tired. it would be a bonus if donghyuck gave him an aegyo (that's only for his eyes to see)
he started thinking that maybe… donghyuck is already sick of him. he always neglect him before anyway, acting as if he didn't like the cuddles and hugs but he knows deep inside he really does. more than anything.
because he did overthink about things (like donghyuck and jaehyun) he decided to just sleep it over. he shut his phone and removed his glasses.
things will be the same tomorrow. he thought.
