Chapter 2

"...Stand back, though. This is about to get ugly". The mysterious girl said, as she drew out her sword. The sword grew longer as it glowed a glistering, bright, white color. Blair looked at her, as he admired her unique facial features. She had a really pretty face, with long eyelashes, violet- coloured eyes, small, pink lips, all contained in her oval shaped face. She also had long slender arms, long legs, a slim waist to complement her shape, perfectly shaped chest and buttocks. In Blair's eyes, She was perfect. "Is there something on my face?" The girl said as she looked at Blair, staring back at her. "Wha...?", "You were staring, dude....really hard at that". She said as she chuckled lightly. "Oh...Umm, sorry", "It's okay, There's no need to apologize". "Oh, Umm... Than.... LOOK OUT!!". Blair yelled to her, pointing behind her as the demon moved swiftly to attack her. She turned quickly and barely managed to block the attack with her sword. "Find somewhere safe to hide...HURRY!" She yelled to Blair as she struggled with the demon. Blair ran quickly, as fast as his feet could take him, towards the uncompleted building. He crouched and hid behind a wall as he watched the battle from afar. He kept watching the fierce battle between the mysterious girl and the demon as he prayed for his safety when he heard a eerie voice beaconing to him. "Come, child..", "Who's there?", "Come...child and all your wish will be fulfilled. Come and all the power in the world will belong to you and you, alone. Powers that you can't even begin to fathom. Come and you'll see your father again". Blair stood up, slowly as he heard the strange voice mention his father. "How'd you kn....", "I know all things, child... Come and you'll see him again. Come and she'll be yours". Blair gulped as he slowly walked towards the direction, the strange voice was coming from.

Blair walked further into the dark and scary place, towards the strange voice. He looked round and noticed a glowing, red orb and as he reached out to touch it, the girl yelled to him,
"DON'T TOUCH THAT!". He stopped and looked at her, startled; "What are you doing here?, What about that...demon?". "Don't worry about him... I've taken care of him" The girl said as she pointed outside. Blair slowly looked outside only to see the demon enclosed in some kind of forcefield. "What is that?" Blair asked. "Well... It's a kind of trap we, diviners use against demons", "Ohh..", "Yeah... Come on... Let's get outta here, but first.." The girl said as she cautiously approached the glowing, red orb. "LOOK OUT!" Blair screamed as another demon dashed towards the girl. Before the girl could react, the demon punched her and swiftly moved behind her, towards where she was landing. "Wow... He's really fast" Blair said to himself. The girl said to herself as she struggled to set herself free from the other demon's grip, "Hey... Get outta here, Save yourself", "N...no, I won't do that. You saved my life, before and now, it's time for me to save yours". Blair picked a nearby stick and ran towards the demon in a desperate attempt to set the girl free but the demon paid him no attention as he kicked him away. Blair flew back, hit his back on one of the walls around them and held the side of his stomach, writhing in pain on the ground. "You are too weak to defeat it... Come to me, Didn't I tell you?, Come and I'll give you powers that your feeble mind can't even comprehend". Blair dragged himself towards the glowing orb that spoke to him. "No... DON'T DO IT?!!" The girl yelled to him, as she kept struggling. Blair moved to the orb and held it in his palm, "Eat it.... Eat it and gain powers beyond your wildest dreams, Eat it and gain the power to save her". "Noooo...!!", The girl screamed as Blair swallowed it whole......
