"My son really likes your daughter from the day 1 he saw her! We really want you daughter's hand for our son!" A lady of middle aged who was the mother of Shreyan. He looked at Natasha who was not interested at all. Her eyes met with his and she quickly averted her gaze and mentally rolled her eyes.
"What the hell! Now I started getting marriage proposals! What my age? Just 28!" Natasha mentally chided looking at the guy! Not like Shreyan was not good looking! He was a strikingly handsome man with chiseled features, piercing eyes, and a confident smile that lights up the room, drawing attention effortlessly wherever he goes. But still failed to gain the her attention.
"Inse zyada handsome Shubman hain!" She mentally thought looking at the man who was covered in black three piece giving all royal vibes.
"One second! Why I am remembering him that too right now?" She shook her head to remove his thoughts. She herself don't know why she was thinking about him?
"So can we consider it yes?" The lady said looking at her father. Natasha widened her eyes and then looked at her father!
"Chudail kahi ki! How can she say this? I didn't even talk to her son? Pagal!" Natasha mentally cursed her and flared her nose. She looked at Shreyan who was smiling at her but she didn't and looked at her father with puppy eyes!
"Let kids talk! Then we will final about their marriage!" Her father said in determination making her smile. Randhir Sharma is a man who never bowed down in front of anyone but if we talk about his daughter he will fight with any obstacle then what's this!
"Uh! What to talk Mr. Sharma! They will definitely say yes!" The lady smiled nervously while Natasha tried to control her laugh.
"Mrs. Neol! We just want to confirm from our daughter's side" Ishita Sharma, mother of Natasha said. She can compromise with anything but not with her daughter's happiness.
Mrs. Neol looked at Shreyan who nodded. He stood up from his seat and straighten his blazer. Natasha looked at him and then averted her gaze to the samosa which she really want to eat from the start.
"Ayee idiot! Go with him!" Ishita smacked Natasha's hand! Natasha realised and smiled nervously. Ishita shook her head on her daughter's clumsiness. Natasha stood up and directed Shreyan upstairs to her room.
Shreyan stood awkwardly in Natasha's room, glancing around at the tasteful décor while she nervously fidgeted with a coaster on the coffee table. He had come with his parents to discuss marriage proposals, but Natasha had made it clear from the start that she wasn't interested. Despite her polite refusals, Shreyan seemed fixated on her, unable to tear his eyes away from her delicate features.
Natasha finally broke the uncomfortable silence. "So, Shreyan, what do you do for a living?"
Shreyan smiled, his eyes lighting up with a hint of mischief. "Oh, I have some business interests here and there."
