I was jolted awake by a loud thump.

My eyes shot open to see my brother, Luca, standing in the doorway with his arms crossed, glaring at me and Azalea, both of us confused and just as exhausted.

"What's your problem?" I mumbled, still half-asleep.

"You ordered pizza without me!" he shouted, clearly pissed.

Azalea groaned from the other side of the room. "Luca, it was 3AM. You were asleep."

"That's no excuse!" he huffed. "Pizza is a family event!"

I couldn't help but laugh. "Dude, it's just pizza. Plus, there are leftovers in the fridge."

His eyes lit up, and he dashed out of the room. "Is there? You should have hidden it." She mumbles.

I chuckled as I turned to face her. "There's none left. We ate it all." She laughs, and moments later we heard the unmistakable sounds of him rummaging through the fridge, followed by an angry, "Hey! Where is it?"

Smirking, Azalea sits up with a groan as she sniffles, "Remind me not to stay up so late tonight, I have a headache sent straight from the pits of hell."

Stifling a giggle, I sit up beside her as I pat her on the back. "I'll try."

I stand up and push the covers off myself as I walk downstairs, where my family were sitting at the table.

"Where's the leftovers?" Luca shouts. I make my way over to the table and sit down before I reply, "There are none."

"You-" He storms over, but stops in his tracks with one glance from Dad, who then turns to me.

"How come you ordered pizza at 3AM?" I frown. "How did you know we ordered pizza at 3AM?"

He chuckles. "Well, I heard the doorbell ring, as well as the sounds of your laughter. Plus, I could smell it."

I shrug as I take a look at what everyone else was having for breakfast, my stomach grumbling.

"We were hungry." Lorenzo's head perks up as he frowns, "We?"

"Yeah, we." Azalea murmurs as she walks into the room and sits down into the chair beside me, sighing as she drops her head onto the table.

"I didn't know you were sleeping over." He says, earning himself a grunt from Azalea as she lifts her head up.

"I did, got a problem with that?" He quickly shakes his head, before a smile creeps across his face.

I can't even remember the last time he smiled.

He notices me staring, and his smile quickly turns sour as he continues on eating his jam toast.

"So," Dad smiles, "Are you excited for your proper driving lessons?"

I shrug as I steal a few raspberries off of Marco's plate. "I already know how to drive."

"You know how to drive a motorcycle, not a car." Matteo points out. "I know the difference, and I bet I could beat you in a race, with or without experience."

He smirks at the challenge. "You want to make that a bet?" He asks, and I nod.

"That's what I said, isn't it?" I reach my hand out and he quickly takes it before we both shake, our deal sealed.
