While staring out of the
window one night,
Little Jenny got the most
awful fright.
She was sure that she saw,
from the corner of her eye,
a great big hairy, scary guy.
With claws and fangs,
and eyes that glowed red.
‘Was it a vampire,
or one of the un-dead?’
Jenny shuddered,
and wrapped her sheets,
around her shoulders
and over her feet.
She covered her head,
so that only her eyes
popped out of the top,
but ready to hide.
Or jump out and attack,
if it came to that!
Jenny grabbed hold of
her baseball bat.
Jenny likes monsters,
and vampire bats,
She can’t stand flowers,
and cute furry cats.
She just hates pink things,
that glitter and shine,
And much prefers creatures that
growl, moan and whine.
And there it was again,
in the shadows outside,
‘A Werewolf’ thought Jenny...
and it’s coming inside!
She could tell that it was a
Werewolf outside, you see,
because two weeks earlier,
she had seen THREE!
They too, tried to make
Jenny their lunch,
but hadn’t counted on
her packing a punch..
Little Jenny is not
like all the other girls.
She doesn’t wear dresses,
or have long flowing curls.
She’s always been different,
just not like the rest,
Even though she did try her best.
To make some friends,
and to fit in a school.
To go out and play,
or to act really cool.
But it just wasn’t Jenny,
she didn’t feel right,
Jenny preferred playing
in the middle of the night.
She would play in the rain,
the thunder and lightning,
And in all the places,
other kids would find frightening
You see Jenny is made
from a different mold...
She’s a Werewolf hunting
eight year old!
