Eun Ae's P.O.V
I’m here in the garden writing again to let out my frustrations. I’ve written a lot, but I burn them because I don’t want anyone to read them.
However, I kept the first letter I wrote. I write to ease my mind because I know it’s not good to keep things bottled up.
This past week, my headaches have become more frequent because of my illness.
Fortunately, Jin has been away most of the time, but today he said he would come home early. I’m alone today because it’s the maids’ day off, and it’s Sunday, so I’m going to cook dinner for him because I know he’s tired from all the paperwork.
I heard a honk, so I went to the gate to open it since it’s also the guards' day off.
When I opened the gate, it was just Jin...
Once he was inside, I told him to eat, and after that, I would go straight to my room, not his, because last Friday, I told him I would sleep in the guest room next to his. I was done cleaning myself when I realized I had forgotten my letter in the garden, and I was so doomed.
I hurriedly went downstairs to get it, only to see him holding it. So I ran as fast as I could to get that damned letter.
I tried to grab it from him, but he moved it away.
“What is the meaning of this?” - Jin
“Uh, it’s not wha~~” - me
I couldn’t finish what I was saying because.
“Is there any problem that I don’t know about? I’m your husband, so it’s my right to know all the problems here!” - Jin
Jin shouted at me.
“I don’t have a problem, I just like writing. Please give it back.” - me
I kept trying to reach for the letters.
The contents of those letters were like saying goodbye to the people you love.
“do you have an affair?! I’ll kill that bastard!!” - Jin
“J-Jin, it’s not what you think. I don’t have an affair. I’m an author, so it’s my passion to write letters or any kind of story. Please stop shouting, it hurts.” - me
I couldn’t hold back my tears anymore the headache was adding to my pain.
“Aaaaahhhh!!!” - me
I screamed and held my head because of the pain.
Jin was shocked by what was happening to me.
“Hey! wife, are you alright? Wife. I’ll bring you to the hospital.” - Jin
Jin said, panicking.
“N-no, it’s o-ok I just need water and rest.” - me
I forced myself to speak because if he took me to the hospital, he might find out what I was hiding.
He brought me to our room.
I lay down even though he brought me here. Jin left to cook me some porridge, but I told him not to, yet he insisted.
It hurts to think about it. Jin is kind to their fans, but why is he always grumpy with me, his wife? Now I know he’s only taking care of me because I’m sick and he doesn’t want others to blame him if something happens.
I miss Jackson Oppa and the others. they’re busy, so I can’t be with them. The girls are busy looking for jobs and oh, the graduation is over. Jin didn’t allow me to go back to the Philippines, so my diploma was just sent here.
“Here, eat this so you can rest afterward.” - Jin
He’s here already.
I ate what he cooked because I knew he would get angry if I refused. After I finished eating, he cleaned up the plates. I was getting ready to sleep when he opened the door and lay down beside me.
“Good night, wife.” - Jin
After saying that, he closed his eyes.
When I felt he was asleep, I kissed him on the cheek before I went to sleep.
I hugged him because I might not be able to do this again. At least I have these memories to take with me up there.
I fell asleep in his arms.
The Next Morning
I woke up early to cook. Jin was still asleep, probably tired from yesterday. They have a lot of work to do, and their comeback is approaching, so for sure, it’s the end for us ARMYs. haha, just kidding, But those theories are crazy.
I was setting the food on the table when Jin came downstairs.
“Good morning.” - Jin
O_o - me
“Jin, is that you? Do you have a fever?
OMG!! Whuuuuaaahhh!!!
Please, evil spirit, leave my husband’s body. it’s okay if he’s always grumpy with me, just don’t let him be possessed!!” - me
“Pfft... hahaha. what are you saying? It’s me. I’m Jin.” - Jin
“Really? Are you sure?” - me
“Yes, it’s me. Let’s eat, before we go on our vacation.” - Jin
“Vacation?” - me
“Yes, mom said that we should go on a vacation. it’s their wedding gift to us.” - Jin
“I feel guilty, there wasn’t any wedding, right? Let’s just end this fake marriage. don’t worry, I’ll explain.” - me
“this marriage isn’t fake, it’s fucking real! I already gave you an original copy of our marriage contract!” - Jin
“Alright, alright, geez, you’re always angry. I just thought I could get away with it, when is this vacation?” - me
“Tomorrow.” - Jin
We finished eating. I cleaned up the dishes and went up to the room to rest because my head started hurting again after hearing about the vacation. Jin left to finish his work today so he wouldn’t have to worry about anything during our vacation.
