POV: Ikoshira

It was a bright and normal day, on September 17th, 2050, but everything turned around. "BREAKING NEWS! A 15-year-old girl was just found jumping out a window from the highest story on the Mori JP Tower holding a briefcase! To put it in perspective, she fell 330 meters or roughly 1082 feet and survived!"

I am Ikoshira Miara and I'm a robot. I will start you here where I am sitting at a long gray table in a dark urine-smelling interrogation room. On the other edge of the table I was sitting at was a lady with black leather jeans, a black leather jacket, and sunglasses. She was watching the TV just on the wall in between us. She pressed pause on the multi-colored remote at a frame where I could be seen taking a leap of faith falling to the ground, and looking at the TV then me over and over again. I was scared of what she would do next,

"Ok tell me everything that happened before this!" the interrogation lady told me pointing at me on the TV, "There's no hiding it!"

It's really hard explaining what happened over the past few months when,

1. Police guards and the authorities are staring at me right now into my soul through one-way glass finding anything that could help them at court,

2. My team can see and hear everything I do through the same one-way glass probably thinking in their minds all the things they could do if I expose the truth,

And 3. A lie detector is strapped to me and they can tell if I lie,

"Now," the lady said, "I have proof about everything you've done, so you need to tell me the truth about what was happening!"

She slapped photos down onto the interrogation table making a loud sound that echoed through the room. The photos showed my teammates and me sneaking into the Mori JP building, running away from guards trying to catch us because we were not supposed to be there, and stealing a briefcase holding my entire backstory inside,

"Th-those weren't us," I told the lady in an empathetic voice to make her feel sorry

"Sigh." the lady interrogating lady sighed, "I am Dr. Artemis, I work for the C.I.A. A.K.A. the Central Intelligence Agency, tell me everything."

"Everything? Well... everything is a lot." I said jokingly

"Oh, I see," she said while standing up and smashing her hands on the table I was being questioned at, "You're trying to be funny eh? Well, jokes on YOU because WE have guards in every direction just in case you escape. Now it's either you never get out alive, or you give me what I want!"

"Ok, ok, ok," I told her, "My name's Ikoshira Miara and I was born somewhere in Green City, Tokyo in the year 2040. I don't know my origins, I just ended up here."

The middle of the night: Green City, Tokyo 2000

"Give me the screwdriver."

"Screwdriver."

"I need duct tape."

"Duct tape."

"And it's complete."

Two men who had lived in Colivar, Nigeria had created a robot that didn't age and looked exactly like a real human. It was so groundbreaking that they had created life in a time when music videos looked like the inside of a cheese grater. It was a white female and had feelings of its own. On its 1st birthday, the men gave the robot a name: Celaya. They even made a new robot just for Celaya to make her not lonely. It was a male robot created to be like a boyfriend to her. It ended up being named Fall. He was also black and had really short hair.

The men who made the bots were none other than Colossum Peeves and Jack Jacob. These men wouldn't reveal their project to the public until early 2010 when they moved to Green City, Tokyo with the robots; showing people that life could be made in a time when the iPhone was released. Sadly, people didn't like how the project was just a test and the robots wouldn't be able to interact with any real humans, so they protested and it went so far some people tried to kill the robots. The protesters were successful on a faithful morning in late 2010. Luckily Colossum took the remains of the robots away never to be seen again. Before that the robots constructed a new robot suited for the next generation. They created me.
