Sasuke was in his office looking out the window with his usual scowl plastered on his face as he thought back to all the events that has happened.
He had managed to kill Itachi much earlier and much easier then he thought but once he was about to take Itachi eyes for himself a strange white light had happened and suddenly Itachi body was no longer there.
Sasuke knew that Itachi was somewhere out there alive and well but the question is where.
Sasuke thought of a plan to go into war with every village and hopefully try and weed out Itachi and finished what he started but so far nothing and thanks to Sasuke's arrogance Konoha was receiving a major backlash as every village wanted Konoha's blood.
Maybe I should abandon this village again" Sasuke briefly thought before he quickly dismissed the idea since he had nowhere to go and there was the fact that he might get kidnapped and executed for all his crimes.
Sasuke eyes wondered around the room but his eyes briefly settled on a old broken photo of team seven as his eyes landed on Naruko, the girl who practically went out of her way to ensure Sasuke happiness was gone.
Sasuke smirked as he burned the photo as he felt proud of himself that he crushed the dobe dream, but the logical side of his mind told him that Naruko might come back for her revenge in the future.
Heh like that pathetic dobe can win against me" Sasuke arrogantly thought as he suddenly had an idea to send some ninjas to conquer Suna too crush the supposed friend of Naruko.
Gaara you will pay for humiliating me in the chunin exams" Sasuke thought as he decided to send Kurenai and Asuma along with some root shinobi to handle the mission as he was unaware that this mission was about to end horribly.
