6 Months Later

"Thank you," Harper says to the cashier as she grabs her coffee and doughnut. She leaves the small bakery and takes a left to head back to her car. As she turns the corner, Harper runs into someone, her coffee splashing on the both of them. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry." Harper notices the man's shirt. "It's okay. It's my fault. I should've been paying attention." The man shakes his head.

"I, uh, have an extra shirt in my car. Let me give it to you." Harper notices the man adverting his gaze away from her. "Uh, no, that's okay. It's better if you keep it... The coffee is causing your shirt to be a bit transparent, ma'am." He informs, taking off his light jacket. Harper's eyes widen a little as she looks down at herself. "Oh..." She pinches a piece of her shirt and pulls it away from her body. "Here." He offers his jacket. He can sense her hesitation. "Bring it to the sheriff's department and tell them you're looking for Officer Jared Taylor," Jared says, still offering his jacket.

Harper grabs his jacket and puts it on. "Officer? You work for the police department?" She questions for clarification. "I do. You work for SWAT, right?" Jared nods down at her badge. "Yes, Officer Harper Street. But I go by Harper at HQ since my brother also works for SWAT." Harper explains. "Well, officer, it was nice to meet you. Although, I wish we met in better circumstances. My apologies again for running into you." Jared offers his hand to shake. "Nice to meet you too, Officer Taylor," Harper shakes his hand.

Harper's phone buzzes in her pocket. "Alright, I have to go, duty calls." Harper starts walking to her car. "Right, duty calls. Be safe, Officer Street." Jared calls out. "You too!" Harper says before getting in the driver's seat of the car.

Harper walks around at a convention area, her eyes scanning for any suspicious people. Allegedly, someone is out for a woman who just published a book named "The Toll of Truth". Does Harper know why? No, but she'll go with it.

"Twenty-five David, your move." Hondo's voice comes through the earpiece. "Roger that," Tan replies, starting to move.

"Twenty-six David, the target is in motion," Hondo informs. Harper's eyes scan the area, noticing the author is starting to stand up. "Thirty David, the target is moving upstairs. Losing visual, accompanied by two bodyguards." Deacon informs. "That's her personal detail. Twenty-four David, here we go." Hondo starts walking. Harper waits for Chris to stand by her side so they can continue. "Target is all yours once we secure the elevator bank," Chris informs, taking off her jacket to show off her 'event staff' shirt that looks identical to Harper's.

Harper, Deacon, and Chris make their way to block the staircase. "Event security, ladies and gentlemen." Deacon blocks the path to the staircase. "Authorized personnel only beyond this point," Chris adds. As Hondo walks by, Harper follows a few feet behind him to cover him. She can hear distant chattering as she gets closer to Hondo, following him into the kitchen and down a few halls. A small yelp of surprise comes from a few feet away from Harper, causing her to put her hand on the gun in the holster. Harper turns the corner to see Hondo staring into the elevator. "It's you." The target says.

Hondo signals Harper to stay by the elevator to keep an eye on the passed-out men as he walks the lady away. She notices Tan walking toward her as Hondo walks away with the target.

"All clear up ahead, Hondo," Luca's voice comes through.

Fifteen minutes later, Hondo's voice comes through. "Luca she's on the move," Hondo informs. Suddenly, the fire alarm starts going off. Harper and Tan glance at each other. "Come on," Tan starts walking, making his way down the halls. Shots are fired down the street as Tan and Harper make their way to Chris and Deacon.
