Training
Blue skies... that is all I see after opening my eyes. "You alright? I hit you pretty hard with that spell." A girl reaches out her hand for me to grab. I grab her hand, and she pulls me up.
"You know Yukiro, I'm not the best teacher. You can always get trained by one of the Kitsune druids around here." She tells me. It seems she feels that her power is lacking.
"Kara... you've trained me for three years now. I don't think I can turn back now." I say in a joking tone, trying to make light of the situation. "Now, you said I would get to pick a druidic order. What are they?"
"That's for later. You don't need to know that now."
It seems she's hesitant to tell me about them. Am I just too weak? I have to work harder then...
■■ 2 YEARS LATER ■■
After a bit of spell dueling, I finally landed a hit. She backs off and smiles. "I guess you're ready for an order..."
She lays out a few papers filled with what each order means. I read each one and pick Flame. She seems to look surprised but puts up all the papers. "Flame, huh? It's kinda looked down upon by most druids. They think fire is a symbol of destruction. Are you sure you want to go down this path?"
"I chose what I chose."
"Very well... I'll train you in the order. Once we are finished, though, I'll have nothing more to teach you."
Kara proceeded to teach me in the order throughout the next year. She taught me my personal favorite spell wildfire. The colors of the flames are just beautiful.
