"Bye, Mom. Bye Dad." I said, reluctantly closing the car door behind me.

"It's going to be fun," My dad said. Sure it is, I thought.

"Bye sweetie. Just try and enjoy yourself; for me? Love you!" My mom yelled over my shoulder.

"Love you too." I replied, sighing. I heard the car pull away behind me.

I really didn't want to be here, but now I figured I was stuck for what seemed like the whole summer break at a camp I would have rather not attended. It was actually only two weeks long, but I still wasn't keen. I tried talking my parents out of it, but they forced me. I didn't have friends, so it would keep me busy, but I'd much rather spend my summer listening to music, taking photos, going to the beach or playing with our Beagle, Buddy. I looked down at the card my parents had given me with my cabin number on it. Cabin 12. That cheered me up a bit; my favorite number is twelve. Don't ask me why though, I just like it for some unknown reason. I looked around and saw groups of kids my age talking. Some seemed like they had come here together and others were introducing themselves to people. If only I had friends to bring along with me. I finally caught eye of a cabin with the number 12 in mosaic numbering on the door. I walked in and looked at the other kids inside. There was a red-headed boy furiously typing into a laptop, a blonde girl that was reading and a dark-haired girl taking a selfie in front of a small mirror on the wall. I put my bags on the last available bed closest to the door on the right side. The blonde girl looked up. The thump of my bags must have interrupted her reading.

"Hi! You must be the last roommate; I'm Bailey." She said with a smile.

"I'm Summer," I said. I looked around the room at the other two.

"Oh that's Charlie," Bailey said, gesturing towards the guy. "And that's Macy." She did the same. The question marks in my eyes were obviously noticeable.

"Hey." Macy said. She seemed emo with the tone she used. Charlie didn't answer, he was obviously too busy with whatever he was doing on his laptop.

"Nice to meet you all." I stated. I unpacked my bags and then plonked onto my bed crosslegged. I was tying my hair in a bun when there was a knock on the door. Charlie called the person in.

"Hey, campers! Welcome to Summer Adventurers Camp. I'm Jack Griffo, one of your camp leaders. Can I get your names?" A tall guy with short, flowing brown hair had come in. He had warm chestnut eyes and he wore a dazzling smile. Jack Griffo. Wow.

"I'm Bailey Reynolds,"
"Charlie Simpson, here,"
"Macy Woods," my cabin mates said after each other as he recorded their names on a clipboard he was holding.

"And you? What's your name?" Jack asked. No words escaped my mouth; I was too busy staring at him. I was in a trance. He tried waving his hands to grab my attention, but I still didn't answer.

"Hellooo?" That's when I snapped back to reality and managed to answer.

"My name's S-summer Lovem-m-more." I stuttered.

"Thank you. What a pretty name for a very pretty girl." He winked as he finished writing my name down. I blushed.

"You're guaranteed to have fun here! I hope you enjoy your time. Our first fun activity is tonight; we're having a campfire... Be there by sunset." He left with a smile and closed the door behind himself. Did he have to leave? I fell back onto my pillow and smiled like a lovesick idiot. But, I guess that's what I was at that point.

I immediately knew I had to look good. I got up and looked through the clothes in my wardrobe. I caught sight of something very pretty to wear and knew it was just perfect. I took a towel and walked out of the cabin and around the corner to where the bathroom was. It was quiet when I went in; I was alone to some privacy. I just turned the shower on when I heard footsteps and the sound of someone singing.
