Prologue

𝐘/𝐍 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐦'𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, bored out of her mind. She kept crumbling up blank pieces of paper and trying to throw them in the trash can, missing almost every single time. She would also draw some costume ideas for BroZones concerts, since she was their assistant. Suddenly, her mother opened the office door.

"Y/N,  can you check on the members, I don't believe they're on stage yet." Her mother asked, Y/N's eyes had lit up, she finally had something else to do, other then throwing paper balls in the trash bin. She got up excitedly with a big smile on her face, walking up and out the door. She was pretty excited to see the members before their big show.

"Ok, will do mom!" Y/N yelled as she was walking out of her moms office, walking backstage to where the members were. She was pretty close with each of the members, mostly Clay since they had so much in common. Y/N walked up to the door, and crept the door open, poking her head to see that each member was doing their own thing.

Spruce was in the corner, aggressively doing sit ups to try to achieve chiseled abs to fit his "Heartthrob" persona. Clay was doing his poses in front of the mirror, with his funderdrawers on. Y/N was NOT a fan of his funderdrawers, they just, looked weird.. Floyd was also checking himself out in the mirror and such. John Dory was walking around the room, trying to figure out what song to open with, and checking on everyone.

Y/N finally opened the door fully, walking into the room with a big smile plastered on her face. All the members stopped what they were doing and turned their full attention towards Y/N. Word has it, Y/N had a small crush on John Dory. They had always gotten along pretty well, John Dory would occasionally flirt with Y/N, it always made him laugh at how flustered she would get when he did that.

"Y/N!!" Clay yelled as he ran up to her, picking her up and spinning her around. They had been best friends for a while, always doing fun poses together. Y/N giggled as he put her down, ruffling his hair as she did so. Everyone was crowded around Y/N, except John Dory and Branch, Branch was still nervous and looking into the crowd, John Dory was just eyeing her and Clay, he seemed.. jealous..? He usually wasn't the jealous type, but watching Clay and Y/N have their little interaction made him feel jealous for some reason..

"Hey guys! Are you all excited for your first big-- wait." Y/N stopped ranting to the members, as she had realized something. She was looking around for someone, someone she would usually hug as soon as she saw him.

"Where's Branch..?" Y/N asked, still looking around for the little troll she loved SO SO much. Floyd had sighed, looking towards the direction where Branch was, looking really nervous, poor kid.

"He's.. pretty nervous, since its his big show.." Floyd explained to Y/N, as she was looking towards the little troll. She felt so bad, it was his first big show and the poor kid looked so nervous and scared.

"What? Nervous?" John Dory worriedly asked, slightly waving his hands in the air.

"Uhh no no no, he's not allowed to be nervous, he's gotta be perfect--" He stated, setting the mood off. Y/N knew that John Dory had promised the fans that they would hit the 'Perfect Family Harmony.' JD always thought that everything the band did had to be perfect. 

"JD, please cut him some slack, its his first big show" Y/N said softly, giving the troll a soft, but stern look. This cause John to shut his mouth, but not before scoffing, walking away while rolling his eyes. He shouldn't expect Branch to be perfect, hes just a baby.

Y/N and Floyd made their way towards the toddler, he looked like he had the look of slight fear on his face. Y/N sat next to the troll, slightly nudging his shoulder as she did so.
