"You're late." I tell Jack as he walks into the dojo. "For what?" He questions. "Rudy's suprise birthday party." I tell him. "Remember? The one he've been planning for himself for two weeks." I say gabbing his arm and dragging him near the benches.
"He's coming." Eddie says. "Surprise!" We all scream as Rudy walks in. "How did you know it was my birthday? Are you guys trying to kill me? You'd better not have brought gifts. But if you did, now would be the time to load me up." Rudy says happily walking around.
"Hey, man, I don't have anything. Can I get in on your gift, please?" Jack asks Milton. "Absolutely not. I put a lot of time, thought and effort into this." Milton replys walking over to Rudy. "This is from Jerry, Eddie and me." "Oh, joke-a-day toilet paper. Get out. My cousin had this at his house. I literally laughed myself off the bowl. Thank you, guys." Rudy says to the boys.
"Now I don't want to turn this whole gift thing. Into a competition, But, Kim, it's time to top that gift." Rudy says walking to the blonde. "Kim, do you think I could get in on your...?" Jack then asks Kim. "Forget it, Jack. I've got a winner right here." She says to him. "Unlike some people, I put a lot of thought into my gift. I hope you like it, Rudy." She says handing him the gift. "A signed picture of Bobby Wasabi, My hero, my idol, The man I patterned my life after? "to whom it may concern, Bobby Wasabi." That's me. I'm whom. I'm concerned." Rudy says like a happy child on Christmas.
"Lea can I get in on your gift ple-" Jack asks me. "I didn't get him a gift I'm taking Rudy out to Falafel Phil's later so unless you wanna join in on that mess sure." I tell him. "I think I'll pass for now."
"All right, Jack. Rock my world." Rudy says sitting on the bench Jack and me were standing at. "Yeah, Jack, I'm sure Rudy saved the best for last." Kim says and I glare at her not liking the tone she had.
"Well, you know, I was thinking. Everyone knows how much you love Bobby Wasabi. And I asked myself. What could be better than a picture, right?" Jack says sitting down looking a tad bit nervous. "Only the man himself. Wait a minute. Are you saying what I think you're saying? You found a way to get Bobby Wasabi to come down here. So I could meet him?" Rudy says to him and I look at Jack with a 'what are you doing' type of face.
"Yeah." Jack says simply looking back at Rudy. "Wait, the founder of this dojo, An international movie star, Someone who hasn't been seen in public in years. Is coming to see me? I can't believe it." Rudy says happily getting up. "None of us can believe it, Jack." Kim states. "Let's get this party started." Rudy cheers.
"I cannot believe Bobby Wasabi is coming to our dojo." Kim says walking with me and Jack. "I can't believe it either. Words just kept exploding out of me. It's like I had a case of liarrhea." Jack says to her as I trail behind. "He's never gonna show, Jack. And Rudy's gonna be crushed." I tell Jack and he stops to turn around and face me. "Bobby could show. My grandfather was his Sensei. I found his number and I left him a message." Jack says looking at both me and Kim. "This could be bad. Rudy was so disappointed when he lost contest at the zoo." Kim tells him. "Oh, I know. He put on his crying boots." I tell them both.
