-X's pov-
*me and Four are sitting on the couch just relaxing*
*Four gently ruffles my hair as he watches TV*
"Hmmm..." *I say*
*Four turns his attention to me
"What's up, X?"
"I'm bored.." *I respond*
*Four chuckles*
"Well, what would you like to do then?"
"How about we go out for ice cream?" *I respond in an enthusiastic voice*
*Four grins at my suggestion*
"Sure, X! That sounds like a great idea!"
*Four stands up and holds out his hand for me to take*
*I take his hand, interlocking my fingers with his*
*Four looks down at our interlocked hands and smiles softly. He gently squeezes my hand as he leads me towards the door*
"Let’s go get that ice cream, X."
*As we step outside, Four shields me from the sun with his body since I'm shorter than him as we begin walking to the nearest ice cream shop together*
*Once we arrive at the ice cream shop, Four holds the door open, gesturing for me to go inside first*
*I walk into the ice cream shop, the cold air and sweet aroma hitting me almost immediately*
*Four follows behind me, immediately spotting a table near the window*
"Over here, X!" *Four leads me to the table, pulling out a chair for me to sit. He then takes the seat across from me*
"So, what flavor of ice cream do you want?" *he asks*
"I think I'll get...strawberry" *I say, looking at all the different flavors behind the glass*
"Strawberry, eh? Good choice." *Four says with a small smile. He calls over an employee, who approaches the table*
“What can I get you folks?” They ask.
"Two orders of strawberry ice cream." *Four replies. The employee nods before walking off to prepare our order*
*Four turns his attention back to me, studying my face*
"You look thoughtful, X. What’s on your mind?" *he asks curiously*
"After we get out ice cream, we should go back home, I have something to show you." *I say with a smile, looking out at the sun as it's just starting to set slightly*
*Four raises an eyebrow*
"Really? What is it?"
*The employee returns with our ice cream, setting them down on the table*
"Cant tell.." *I say*
*Four pouts playfully, pretending to be offended*
"Aww, c’mon, X. Can’t you give me any hints about this surprise of yours?
"Nope~" *I say teasingly*
*Four rolls his eyes jokingly, taking a spoonful of his dessert*
"Fine, be that way then. But I’ll find out the surprise later anyways. It’s all fun and games for you now, X, just you wait.." *he smirks*
"Lets head home" *I say, excited to show Four my surprise*
*Four laughs and stands up from his chair, taking my hand in his*
"Sure, let's go. After you, X." *Four gestures for me to leave the ice cream shop first, holding the door open once again*
*I lead him home*
*As we walk, our hands are still interlocked. Four glances down at me with an affectionate look in his eyes, admiring my determination to lead the way home. He lets me go at my own pace, matching my steps with his own*
*we get to the house and I open the door, the soft click of the door opening and closing as we head inside slightly breaks the comfortable silence for just a moment*
*Four follows me inside, gently closing the door behind us before turning his attention back to you*
"Alright, X, I’m dying to know what this surprise of yours is." *His eyes scan the surroundings, almost as if he’s expecting the surprise to just appear out of thin air*
"Ok.. Close your eyes and follow me." *I say*
*Four raises an eyebrow, but a small smirk appears on his face. He chuckles softly before closing his eyes*
"Lead the way, X."
*we head upstairs together and we head to our room, I open the window and we go out onto the roof* "ok.. Now.. Open your eyes.."
*Four opens his eyes, taking a moment to adjust to the sudden change in lighting. Once his vision clears, he gasps softly, gazing at the sight before him, he sees a candlelit lamp sitting on the roof with a canopy overtop with fairy lights as the roof perfectly faces the sunset ahead*
*Four’s eyes widen as he takes in the sight. The warm glow of the lamp and the beautiful hues of the setting sun create a picturesque atmosphere*
"X, this is... so beautiful. You did this?" *he says in an admiring tone*
*I sit down, still holding my ice cream* "I felt like... It would be nice.. For us to spend some time together.. Just you and me.. Y'know?" *I say in a soft voice*
*Four feels his heart flutter at my words. He sits down next to me, a soft smile on his face as he gazes at the surroundings*
"I agree, X. Just the two of us. No one to interrupt or distract us from each other. It’s nice.. being together like this."
*the moment is silent for a bit, only the sounds of the crickets chirping can be heard..*
*Four turns his attention back to me, his face mere inches away from mine. The candlelight casts a warm glow over my features, making me look even more beautiful than usual. Four's gaze flicks down to my lips for just a moment before meeting my eyes again*
*Unable to resist any longer, Four gently cups my cheek in his hand, caressing it softly with his thumb*
*I blush softly as he does this*
*Four leans closer and kisses me and for a moment time seems to just stop as I kiss back*
*Four breaks the kiss softly and I look at him just admiring his face and.. Him..*
*Four returns the gaze, his eyes filled with tenderness and affection. He gently runs his fingers through my hair, his touch light and gentle*
*I lean my head against his shoulder and he does the same as we bith look out onto the horizon... The sunset creating the perfect glow over the both of us*
