It was 10:30am and you found yourself slowly stirring awake from your sleep to the sweet smell of bacon and eggs flowing through the rooms of your house.
The sun was shining through your window lighting up your bedroom as you slowly rubbed your eyes adjusting to the light. Making yourself climb out of bed felt like torture in the mornings especially after getting a late nights sleep.
To be exact, last night you didnt go to sleep till around 3am because you played fortnite with dina and jesse going on a winning streak.
"y/n! breakfast!"
i heard my mum shout up to me, "coming" i replied back fully awakening myself from my slumber.
The smell of the breakfast flowed through the house as i walked to the kitchen to be met by my mum with a grin on her face.
"your in a good mood" i say, all i heard was a chuckle escape my mums lips as i sat down at the dining table.
"ive got some test results back from the hospital" she says as she plates my food down infront of me
My expression immediately turned serious as i looked up at her, "well? what did they say"
"well, they said there's surgery that i can get that would really help my condition.. maybe even cure it completely"
i felt my face light up at her words, "thats great mum you really should get it, this surgery will help you so much" i said with a cheerful tone of voice, but as i looked up to meet her eyes i seen abit of sadness in her expression.
"the only thing is, its expensive... and to pay for this surgery i wouldnt.. i wouldnt have enough for your university funds"
i felt my smile drop as she told me but i quickly covered it up with a reassuring smile, "mum dont worry about me, your health is more important.. ill figure something out but just promise me youll get yourself treated.."
After a long conversation with my mum i convinced her to get the surgery. As i sat and ate my breakfast i thought of what i could do to get extra money in to help not only me but also my mum.
I finished my breakfast and went to my room quickly pulling my phone out and pressing dinas contact,

dina : whats wrong?

dina: what? why?

dina: uhhhh i mean theres that cafe near your house, i heard its hiring
y/n: omg yes thats perfect
dina: your finally gonna be productive with your summer and not just have 8+ hours on fortnite?
y/n: yes dina as shocking as it is im actually gonna do something with my life
dina: hmm never saw that one coming
After messaging dina for a while i pulled out my laptop and searched the cafe up, "bubbles cafe".
A facebook page popped up with ways to contact the owner, i seen underlined "maria- owner- telephone number"
