I sigh as i step foot on their door step, signed the cross before i rang the bell. "Here goes nothing"

When i rang the bell i heard Nika's dad saying "oop, honey! She's here!" I see him walking through the small tinted window on their door "hold up i'm comin'"
Darko open's the door and smiles "hey peyton, not too much fun eh?" I smiled and gave him a hug as a respect and greetings to him, while i was about to remove my arms around Mr.Darko someone say's something "daddd don't be weird! Peyton's not like that!" Nika shouts. Hmm? Am i not like that?😏
Okay just kidding.

Nika come's down the stairs wearing a beautiful plain blue dress with her hair with the up down hairstyle, is that what it's called? Lol

I stare at her as she come's closer. Darko awakend me from my day dreaming by tapping me on my shoulders. "Oh sorry, hey Nika..you look gorgeous"
I say shyly. "thank you, you look good too" she replies.

We've said our good byes to Nika's parents and went to the car, we waved bye again to her parents and i started the car and started driving. "So where do you wanna go?" I asked Nika. "Seriously? You didn't even plan" she said in a joke way.
"I want it to be special, but dont worry i have a special place to take you after the things you wanna do"
"Hmm really? LETS GO EAT SPICY LOBSTERS!!"
"Okay fiesty girl!"
We started laughing and played music then talked.

We arrived at the place she wanted to go to and told her to order anything she want's and i'll get it for her.
"Are you sure, i didn't think it'd be this expensive, baby"
"Uh- bab-baby? Nvm, ofcourse you can my love"
Wow no hesitation, is that rlly us Peyton?
"Okay if you insist, thank you so much"
"Anything for you" i smiled at her and looked at the menu.

Minutes go by and we finished eating.
"Soo are you ready for the surprise?"
I said to Nika while she's still munching on a corn
"Oh! Yeah! Cant wait"
"Okay finish that corn and we'll get going"
She smiles at me cutely like a little kid. I love her.

She finished, washed her hands, and we were ready to go. Before i told her to get inside the car, i put on a blindfold on her. I assisted her to her seat and told her to wait as i go to the drivers seat.
"Ohhh i'm so exciteddd"
"I'm worried about what you'll think of the place, i hope you'll enjoy it"
"Shh y'know i enjoy anything"
"Thank you" i held her hand as i drove to the place.
I've been wanting to come here for so long. The time i knew about this place, i immediately fell inlove.

"Okay baby, we're here"
"Really? Omg i'm so exciteddd"
I took off her blindfold and all she can see is the picnic place i set for her. It's surprising that there's only us here, people come here a lot. This place is where people float their lanterns.

"So what do you think?
"Its....its BEAUTIFULL!! I LOVE IT PEYTON! I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!"
She jumps on me and i carry her as she wass so excited about the place
"Im so glad you like it" i kissed her forehead.
We already ate so i just poured some wine and we talked for a while.

Finally it was quiet, i stood up and get the lanterns out of the picnic basket and told her to sit down
"Oh Peyton this date just keeps getting better and better! I love you so much!"
"I love you too baby, cmon let's write on this and let's light it up so it floats"
"Okay okay! I'm so happy!"
I smile at her at handed her the paints and started decorating it

After a while, we're almost done desgining and writing on it. I looked at her looking so inlove as she is writing on the lantern and she looks at me
"Hey silly, c'mon let's light this up!"
