"Look at my baby going off to college, it was just yesterday when you were a little bab-"
"Mama..you said you wouldn't cry," Beyoncé chuckled as she folds clothes into her suitcase.
"I know baby but I can't help it," Tina says as her eyes start to water. As she rests the side of her body on the doorway, she can't help but to gaze and admire her little girl, she can't believe she gave birth to such an amazing being and she couldn't be happier.
"Is she crying again!?" Solange yells from the hallway.
"Piaget, why must you be so loud all the time. You don't know what quiet means do you?" Beyoncé says sarcastically, as Solange walks into her room and crosses her arms.
"Nah, not really. So when you leave, can I have your room?"
"Well dang! I didn't even leave yet and you're already trying to claim my stuff."
"Now Solange.." Their mother says with the infamous Knowles eyebrows raise.
"Whattt???" She whines. "She has the second largest bedroom in the house, she ain't gon be here so I don't see why she needs it." She says as she looks over her manicured nails.
"Um..there's things called holidays." Beyoncé sassily replies as she counts the events on her finger, "There's spring break..summer break..and OH!" She says looking at solange, crossing her arms. "It's also a thing called 'I could always come back whenever I want.'"
"Okayyy dang. You don't have to be so rude, ya heffa."
"Alright now Solange. Don't get slapped." Tina warns. "You know good and well you're gonna miss your sister."
Solange smacks her lips and waves her hand dismissively at Beyoncé.
"Please, she ain't nobody to miss."
It's silent for a few seconds as Beyoncé and Tina stare at Solange knowingly.
Solange looks up from her nails and rolls her eyes. "Okay maybe I'll miss her a little bit," Solange pinches her fingers and she smiles. Beyoncé laughs as she walks to her little sister and embraces her into a hug. She loves Solange deeply just as Solange loves her.
Tina fans her eyes, "Look at my two babies..Lord I just can't take this."
"Cmon now woman, you act like the girl is going off to war in Iraq." Richard's voice increases in volume as he walks into the doorframe, he places his arm over Tina's shoulder and embraces her small frame into the side of his body. Giving her a peck on her temple.
