A cold wind blew through the night as light brown haired girl ran through the woods on a gas station for something to drink. 2:15am and the gas station was empty, and the air around her was still and quiet. Suddenly, the sound of a motorcycle pulling into the station broke the silence, and Adeline turned her head just in time to see a tall biker. "A biker? At 2am? Who normally could pull up with a bike at a gas station at 2am.. Whatever, I'll go buy some water." she thought to herself, stepping into a little shop. She chooses the water she would like to drink then heads to the self-service checkout.

-oh come on.. not enough money? -she mumbles under her nose, not seeing the biker approaching her.

-need some help? -he asks as his voice comes out in a soft, but low tone.

-oh, uh.. umm.. I just don't have enough money, that's all. -she says.

-i can add the needed amount for your water, you know -the black haired boy mutters.

-uh, thanks. My mouth is really dry now.. it could get some water. -Adele chuckles, getting her water.

-no problem. You have pretty eyes, what's your name?

-um, thank you. My name is Adeline..

-pretty name also, just like your eyes, Adeline. Maybe, Adele, for a shortcut? It's unique.

-sure, and what's your name, biker boy? -she smiles.

-my name is Levi. -he chuckles.

-Levi? You also have a pretty name.

The sudden silence bitters their ears, as only wind can approach them. Finally, Levi asks, as his words get into Adele.

-hey, maybe you want me to ride you home?

-oh, I don't know.. who knows what are your intentions?

-right...then, princess Adele. Will You let me ride you home, where you belong? -with a smile, he teases the smaller girl.

-that's more like it.. well, if you exist. -she chuckles.

As soon they leave the mini shop, Levi hands a helmet to his passenger. Adele adjusts the helmet as she wears it, holding tightly Levi's waist when he pulled to drive. Adele knows that her home is about 2hours from there. The highway was empty. The wind, the light falling from the lantern on their faces and the atmosphere that was created between them was enough to feel this tension between black haired biker and light brown haired casual girl. The tension? Or maybe the light atmosphere? Levi speeds up, enough to make Adele squirm from excitement.
Hours passes by, Adele and Levi gets to know each other better. He got her number as soon they end up on a little meadow, the small girl collects every flower she saw, making a bouquet.

-i see that you like flowers? -Levi speaks up, his voice low but at the same time light.

-yeah, they are pretty.. especially when the light moon falls on them. -Adele mutters with a small smile on her lips.

-What is your favorite flower then? -he asks.

-Dark red roses. I call them bloody roses. -she answers.

Levi nods, a small smile on his lips at her answer. He gazes at her for a moment in silence, taking in her face lit by the moonlight, before turning and leaning back on the grass.

-Bloody roses, huh? Fitting for a girl like you. - he teases, his voice still low and light. -You're like a paradox, you know that? -he adds.

Adele looks up from the flowers in her hands, a bit taken back by his statement. She lifts an eyebrow at him before replying:

-A paradox? Me?

-Yeah, you. You're soft and delicate like a flower, i'd say. Yet, you've got this dark and edgy side to you. You love flowers yet your favorite ones are those "bloody roses". You seem sweet but you've got this bit of danger to you. -Levi chuckles, shaking his head.
