“Betty, I swear we didn’t do anything,” Veronica says as they walk into the girls’ bathroom.
They were in tears because Cheryl tweeted that she saw Jughead and Veronica hooking up in the back of Veronica’s car.
“Why was he in your car then? As far as i know, you two aren’t friends”
“Exactly, we were just talking”
“What about?”
“I-” Veronica pauses mid sentence
“I can’t tell you”
“Why not?”
“It’s complicated”
Betty rolled her teary eyes
“But it’s not what you think, i promise”
“You know what V?”
Veronica raised an eyebrow
“Screw you” Betty says before washing her face and storming out of the bathroom
“Wait Be-”
She slammed the door in her face
“You’re gonna pay for this Cheryl” Veronica says after a few beats

Jughead walked into Pop’s and ordered his usual.
Reggie, Fangs and Sweet pea were sitting in a booth a few feet from him.
“Look guys” Reggie points at him “It’s Jughead”
He rolled his eyes
“How was it?” Fangs smirks
He raised an eyebrow
“Did she..” Sweet pea asks smiling at Jughead
“What are you guys talking about?”
“Oh don’t be modest Jug, not everyone gets to have a rendezvous with the Lodge”
Jughead got more confused
“It was probably so good that he can’t even remember it” Sweetpea giggles
“I’ll take it to go Pop”

Veronica rang the doorbell twice and no one answered so she let herself in.
Toni was playing some loud music in the kitchen while making dinner
“Veronica,” she says, turning off the mp3 “What brings you here?”
“Where’s Cheryl?” Veronica asks not missing a beat
“Upstairs, why?’
“Thanks” Veronica turns to go upstairs but Toni stops her
“Hey, Hey what’s wrong?” she asks standing in front of the brunette
“Get out of my way Toni”
“Look, if this is about what Cheryl tweeted-”
“Great, now the whole town knows”
“- She deleted it”
“I don’t care. Betty already saw it and now she hates me because she thinks i’m the reason Jughead broke up with her””
“Why did he break up with her?”
“I have no idea, but i had nothing to do with it”
‘“I believe you. But please don’t take it out on Cheryl, she’s not doing well rn”
“Okay” Veronica shrugs
“Thank you” Toni walked back in the kitchen
Veronica looks at Toni before running upstairs
“Veronica!”
The brunette pushed Cheryl’s door open and caught her in the act.
Cheryl had her hands down her pants. Her eyes were closed and her lips parted.
“She seems fine to me” Veronica giggles as Toni appears beside her
“Babe!”
Cheryl’s eyes shot open
“You were supposed to wait for me” Toni folds her arms, looking at her girlfriend
“Well, you were taking too long”
Veronica chuckled pulling out her phone
Cheryl’s hand was still buried in her pants and her legs were spread out
Veronica smiled and walked out of Cheryl’s room unnoticed after taking a picture of her

Veronica got a call from Jughead as she walked to her car
“I thought you said no one saw us?” Jughead asks before she could speak
“Well, it was dark”
Jughead sighs walking into his trailer
“This is what I get for helping you”
“Relax Jughead, it's just a little rumor”
“Oh yeah? And how long before someone finds out about what you did?”
Jughead put his food on the table and took off his jacket
“No one can find out” Veronica says doing her seatbelt “I could go to jail”
“I'm pretty sure, I'm more likely to go to jail, since your dad's the mayor”
“But you didn't do anything”
“I helped you get rid of the body. And I'm starting to regret it. I shouldn't have gone to your house in the first place”
“Why did you come to my house?” Veronica furrows her eyebrow
“Um- Uh- you're breaking up. I'll call you later”
Veronica sighs looking at the back seat through the rearview mirror. It still had blood stains on it.
