Sitting at my desk, pencil in my hand and my phone beside me, I began writing the start of my story. Well- not my story, but a story of love. I don't understand why life can't be like a romance book or a movie. Sure everything is cliche, and weird, but it's also really wholesome and cute -minus the spicy bits like in Haunting Adeline- but y'know, it's still cute. I didn't realize I was so deep into writing until I heard my phone ping, signaling someone had messaged me. I look at my phone in confusion. I don't have anyone to talk to other than Jessica, but her phone is broken, so who could it be?
My hand reached for my phone, putting it on and looking at the notification. Now you see, I was already confused, now I'm just questioning my life decisions. The message is from an unknown number, but it reads.
"Meet me tomorrow at Sunset"
Now I'm really confused, because this was the exact text message I wrote the male character in my story to the main character. So, I did what any other curious college student would do. I clicked the notification and began texting back.
"Who is this???"
Huh. No answer. Oh wait, nope, he's texting back.
"You know who it is, princess. Meet me tomorrow, good night, sleep well"
I blinked at my phone in confusion. I put my phone down and went back to writing my story, only to see a few added words. That's my response to the messages. I didn't write those. I shook my head to rid my swirling thoughts, a frown on my face.
"Damn it Luna, you're losing your mind"
Yes. I talk to myself. I'm not crazy, you should be concerned when I start answering myself. I decide to close my notebook and put it into my drawer, sighing and running a hand over my face before heading to go take a shower, bringing pajamas with me because I dress in the bathroom. I don't dress in the bedroom for two reasons; It's cold, and I feel uncomfortable. I don't know why I'm telling you this, but I am.
After a few minutes of taking a nice hot and relaxing shower, and getting dressed, I go back into my bedroom, throwing my dirty clothes into the hamper before flopping on my bed. Good thing it's a queen sized bed, otherwise there would be a black whole in the shape of my body right in the center. I crawled under the blankets, taking the biggest plushie I have along with my spare pillow, and hugged them both to my chest. You sleep with your pillow too, so don't judge me you lonely ass bi- sorry. I have no room to speak here.
I soon close my eyes, counting imaginary sheep before finally falling asleep. Landing in dreamland until the next morning.
